A bit much road noise in rooms close to road; this is to be expected for this historic building with single glasing though. Also, it would be good to have a light in the clothing closet.

Very cosy rooms and common space, beautiful building and grounds. Relaxing! Bonuses like homemade cookies in the evening are great too, makes you feel at home.

The bed was a little high!

This is in a beautiful location next to the Rogue River but what sets it apart is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the hors d'oeuvres served in the afternoon/early evening with wine and beer. The food is free and the drinks very reasonably priced. Then in the morning an excellent cooked breakfast.

It was a beautiful place. We enjoyed walking around and down to the river. We were there only 1 night and wish it as a little longer. Very clean and private, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Extraordinary location and super friendly and helpful stuff, they really make sure you feel welcomed and enjoy your stay, free parking, super sweet, individual and clean rooms with a special touch of history! Wonderful breakfast and small appetiser, free coffee and tea you can enjoy by the fireplace.

Only that they play country music in the lobby at all hours;country music is not something I enjoy.

Charming, folksy, historical ambience, two minutes walk to the river with a mile and a half trail along side the scenic Rogue. Warm and welcoming staff of friendly, interesting people. They went out of their way to make me comfortable, even bringing up a mini fridge to my room which wasn't normally offered in that room, and bringing a microwave to my sisters room which also wasn't normally offered in that room. They feed you a lot--a full breakfast, appetizers at 4:30 which you could practically make dinner out of, fresh cookies out of the oven at 7:30 every night. Games to play available in the large and homey family room/lobby, with a big fireplace. Just such a lovely view out of the dining room. You look out into the the huge lawn and the tall trees and the cabins below. Also it's located with an easy driving distance to many fun hikes and other special attractions of the area.

Beautiful and private. Everybody was so friendly, guests included. What an absolute treat. Stunning deluxe king. Fresh cookies, appetizers, bonfire, and smores. I will be a regular.

The cabin with river view was a extreme exaggeration. You could not see the river from the cabin and the water in the picture on the website is a drainage ditch

we are physically limited and it was not very handicap accessible - walking up and down a grade from cabin to main lodge

3rd time here - we love the charm and beauty of this place, gorgeous big trees, warm cookies and s’mores in the evening, full buffet breakfast, evening appetizers enough to make a meal, love the rustic charm of the individual cabins
