When you stay at an American MO-tel, corn chips behind the couch, fanless bathrooms, and beds that hump in the middle and roll you off the edges--that's part of the romance. As if to say, "YOU just had to pay less than a Benjamin for a double room." This place is straight out of a Tom Waits tune.

There were oder bags that left sort of odd smell. It got into my clothes and even my CPAP machine equipment. It would be better to use one of those plug in freshners. I was also a bit surprised at the lack of space between the bed and the walls. The couch was way too soft / broken in. It was difficult getting up from it.

I was not expecting to check in and out with the Days Inn. But it was ok. The breakfast offered was ok but I didn't take advantage of it. I liked the fact that my room was on a ground floor plan for walking my dig.

Damp feeling. No fan in bathroom. Even though it was newly painted, mildew already coming through paint and smelled musty/ mildew. I will not rebook until moisture problem dealt with

Great spaces to put little ones to bed with a closing door and a small sitting room for adults. Enjoyed access to pool and breakfast at their newer, larger property

Only thing I didn't like was the bed and bedroom. Bed was hard as a rock and bedroom was VERY small. If you're needing a larger bedroom to move around, this wouldn't be the spot for you.

Staff were great. Room was small but well stocked and a good choice. Overall though it was a great choice and I would definitely suggest it. Also, quick FYI, to check in you have to go to the Days Inn down the street, as there isn't anyone on-site at the Westerly to check you in. The staff at the Day's Inn also told me that I could come there for breakfast and to use the pool and hot tub, which was an unexpected bonus. The hotel isn't too far from the convention center, which is the reason I was there, so was a great location.

I'm glad I found out before I arrived that we were to check in at a neighbor hotel. It certainly saved time. The rooms were very small but it sufficed for what we needed. We used the sofa bed and the kids said it was comfortable. They thought the sheets were damp but it was just the humidity from being on the coast. The sleeping areas and the bathroom was clean. I was particularly impressed by how up to date the bathroom was.

No a/c, I stayed there on a hot weekend and it was hard to fall asleep without a/c. Also kitchen trash was not empty and had some stuff left from previous guests. Room smelled a bit funky

Not clear where to pick up and drop off keys (other location). Internet password not posted - and was the default password for the router. Wrong check-in time posted on booking.com and charged $10 per hour for early check-ins..

there was a smell in the room-- carpet needs a good cleaning. The lady at the office needed more help from her son or whoever was jointly responsible for the property . She was nice, but was not in good health and had a lot of trouble walking and getting to the door; didn't answer the door in the morning and would not have been physically able to come to the room if I had any problem.

Queen-size bed was too big for the bedroom; the door would not close and no room to change clothes.

We would have liked to get a higher volume on the TV. Sometimes it was hard to hear what was on.

As compact as the room was, everything we needed there was available to us. Of course there is great access from there to the sites in Ocean Shores.

No dead bolts on door

This was the most in expensive hotels in the area. It is an older building there was a small TV in the living space but not in the bedroom it had all the standard things microwave, fridge and a small coffee maker. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. It was quiet at night and for me an adequate place to sleep and go to the beach. I was there for a convention and did not spend much time in my room. There was a small stain in the carpet. The room was clean. I was a little scared at night being a woman and alone because there were no dead bolts on the door. Otherwise I had a nice stay.
