Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThis is very minor compared to the overall experience, but the dresser in my room had a drawer that just would not stay closed. It kept rolling out to open, so I wedged a folded paper towel to keep it shut. Also noise from other rooms were noticeable, but it's normal in a hotel.
The hotel is very clean, feels new, and modern. It felt like a privilege to be there. Staffs were all professional and nice. I liked that there is a filtered water and carbonated water station on each floor. I stayed here for Boston Marathon, and it was phenomenal to have a shuttle bus take the runners to the finish area in the morning, though I still had to walk for about ten minutes from the drop-off point because there were so many road closures in the area. I had vouchers for breakfast, and the breakfast buffet at Sauciety was amazing.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom needed some repairs (the bathroom door did not lock, and the showerhead was not working properly). Maybe do a seasonal menu for MJ O'Connors. It has been the same fare for three years now.
The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The location is amenable because it was connected to the convention we were attending. It was convenient due to the cold weather and avoided coat check lines.

United States of AmericaThe room was far too spartan compared to other, less expensive, Marriott-owned properties. A lovely lobby builds up great expectations that the room would be as nice. It wasn't. It was quite drab and the bathroom arrangement made getting in and out of the shower difficult. Our desk chair was not adjustable so its presence was effectively superfluous. Removing or covering the window would go a long way to improving the room. I would like to forget about the expensive and unpleasant at the lobby-adjacent MJ O'Connor's.
The breakfast buffet at Saucity was exceptionally good, from food to staff. The lobby, the staff, and the convenience of Starbucks in the lobby were all top-notch. We could easily walk to most of our destinations or quickly catch a ride-share, so the hotel's location was good for our visit.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant on property has the WORST SERVICE EVER. and the menu descriptions were a bit off too. I thought I was getting a warm item. And it was a cold salad. I even went back to the menu to look again.
It’s comfortable. And a nice property.

United States of AmericaThe water is taking a long time, 20-25 minutes, to get hot. Also the parking. The valets were amazing and hardworking. However, the available parking space was not enough.
Staff was awesome, friendly, and professional. The room was clean, and the view was awesome. The only complaint was the water temperature, which took a while to get hot in both the sink and bath. In spite of that, I would definitely stay there again, and it had a Starbucks, a breakfast restaurant, and a delicious restaurant in the lobby. How awesome and convenient is that. The added bonus was seeing the crew of the United Emirates flight. I absolutely love seeing them. It was so beautiful that it made my night. Just a lovely stay, I wish,it was longer, but,. We will be returning and will recommend it..

United States of AmericaThe bathroom floor was dirty with areas of a dried liquid spots in several places. I cleaned it with a towel. It is disgusting that housekeeping does not mop the floors between customers. I usually have wipes but used them during the holiday and ran out. For a high end hotel, this should not happen.
The dinner and breakfast was good, service exceptional and restaurant comfortable. The gift shop had a large variety of items.

United States of AmericaThe room felt a bit dated compared to the lobby and other amenities around the hotel.
For Fan Expo Boston you can’t get any better than this hotel. My boyfriend and I have been going for about 3 years together and we’ve tried a new hotel each time and this is the first place we will be rebooking with. Having the attached entrance to the convention center is super convenient for if you want to drop stuff off at your room or make a change out of a cosplay. We got dining credits which I wasn’t expecting but was an awesome bonus! We even tried the pool which was really clean and fun!

United States of AmericaFurniture is a little old, with some drawers that would not close. Location of the hotel is ideal for those staying here for a conference, but it's quite a walk away from the main attractions.
The room overall was pretty good, though I'd say a little bit overpriced - the hotel in general is a little worn down. Breakfast buffet was great, good variety and good quality foods. An additional voucher for the Starbucks was a nice touch. Metro bus is very close to the hotel.
