Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaOur first room was right next to a Coca Cola machine tha sounded like a lawnmover and an ice machine which kept up clattering noises at odd times during the night. We stood it for two nights and the requested a moveto a quieter room, which the hotel did without fuss, but they forgot to tell us that the new room which wasn't notably different was costing an additional US$50 per night.
Convenient location, within easy walking distance to downtown and breakfast included

United States of AmericaBreakfast area was too crowded for most of the mornings when the location was shifted to the back area from the ballroom/convention area. It was too hard to find seating at times. Breakfast was a bit repetitive. The staff had a hard time keeping up the breakfast supplies with the crowd coming in constantly.
Breakfast was adequate and plentiful. Our room near the end of the 7th floor was quiet and much appreciated. The overall ambience and parking was satisfactory. The excellent view from our room gave us a good idea of the weather and conditions to expect if we were to wander about.

United States of AmericaPlumbing and heater in room. The toilet you had to jiggle handle, the tub didn't drain after my shower with out me holding the stopper down. The toilet paper roll holder kept falling off. It was hard to get the room warm with the heater in the room and I was not sure how to use it . I could not open the curtains to let the sun in due to the heater not keeping the room warm if they opened.
Laundry area was clean. The afternoon staff was nice.

United States of America1. The breakfast restaurant kitchen was closed for renovation but never been communicated to us at the time of booking. Or even before we showed up at the hotel. They had ready made cold breakfast option though. 2. The cold breakfast could have been better. There was just some packed pastries, oatmeal, corn flakes and fruits. No bread/bagel/butter/jelly and toaster available.
Clean place, had house keeping every day, very pleasant and helpful staff members (front desk).

United States of AmericaWe stayed here upon arrival in Alaska, left to go mushing then returned. First check-in at 2am was friendly and fast. The second check-in took an extraordinarily long time, requesting to see IDs etc. Also we had to leave at 4am to catch a plane so were not able to partake in the breakfast. Some fruit, granola bars, or really anything to travel with would have been appreciated!
Breakfast was good. Would be nice to offer coffee in advance of breakfast hours for those of us visiting from a different time zone. Fresh fruit would also be appreciated.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was not good. There were choices but everything tasted off except the fruit and the cereal. The eggs, potatoes, and sausage were all cold and did not taste good. We chose not to eat breakfast there the second day because of that.
It was a beautiful hotel and the room and beds were comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and professional.
