Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesAs I was the person on the trundle bed in the living room area, I would've appreciated a side table or nightstand nest to the bed and there is room for that. Additionally, something, like a luggage rack to perch my suitcase. Also, items put on top shelf were pushed all the way back making it hard for a short person like me to reach.
It was delightful to awaken to a scene of the marina with its wide array of fishing boats, other guests on their balconies, and fisherpersons pulling up some smallish Coho. It was great to have robes for enjoying the morning on the deck. We were so close to the observation tower and really enjoyed a walk and meditation on the beach and a relaxed stroll through shops and restaurants.

United StatesThe only thing I could point to as a negative from my most recent trip (and honestly one prior this year) was that the main king bed can be a little too soft and lopsided in support. It wasn't uncomfortable per say, but if you have back issues or have two people in the bed, it is something to consider. Outside of this, if you stay in cottage 18 during the summer, be aware that the seafood processor next door starts early at 5:30am moving pallets with a forklift and loading up tenders with ice right outside of your cottage, and it did wake us up. The fishy smell from the processor also was a bit nauseating, but these aren't things that the property can help. As far as I know, it does only appear to be a summer/early fall issue, so in the off-season it shouldn't be as big of an issue.
I love the Marina Cottages! Every time I come to Westport, I stay here. While the price can be a little steep compared to other properties in town, the cottages absolutely make it worth the cost. The rooms are always clean and provide everything you need including extra towels, dish soap, sponges, coffee (k-cups), a large fan, and extra blankets! They even come with a dishwasher and, in some rooms, a jacuzzi tub. The cottages also are in a wonderful centrally located area where you can walk to the downtown/marina area and the fisherman's terminal. Outside of amenities and location, I chose the cottages over other properties specifically because of their dedication to maintaining a comfortable and respectful environment. They are strict about quiet hours and don't allow partying, which is a delight to me and those who have early wake-up calls for fishing, clamming, birding, and more. The communication from their team is also A+. Overall I would highly reccommend staying here over other properties both for summer and off-season visitors!

United StatesThe location is idyllic, The marina on one side and the beaches on the other. The beaches were not a far walk or you could drive. The cabin is cute and efficient. Overall, a great place.

United StatesThat I have to pay 30 per night for my dog. I think if someone is staying for a few days and not requesting any housekeeping services there should just be a one time stay charge for my dog. Also if you are looking for any sort of privacy there is none. Some pull down shades on the sides of the porch overlooking the marina would make this place absolutely PERFECT!
I love the little cottages on the marina. So fun to watch the fishing boats coming in. I love that I can bring my furry friend with me. The restaurants nearby have amazing food. Short drive down to Grayland where you can drive on the beach. And I had extra excitement because there was a tsunami warning going on!!

United StatesI think a pull out couch in the living area would be preferable to the double bed set up there. We didn't need it but had to use it as a 'couch' to watch TV at night which wasn't optimal. There was one armchair provided and a dining room set for sitting as well. A couch would've been more comfortable.
Cottage was set up well. I chose the type with the separate bedroom for more privacy. Cottage had a great deck overlooking marina and provided 2 Adirondack chairs and small table. Nice to watch boats leave and come in. Also provided view of main drag in town with shops and restaurants. Short walk to this area from cottage. Be sure to use the shortcut which is through the motel property next door (you'll see a short path between buildings)- much safer than walking around on the road, which doesn't have a true walkway. There is a nice restaurant connected to said motel - The Siren Oceanside. Make reservations to get a window view. I also recommend the Knotty Pine Tavern (nice walk or short drive into town) for breakfast - great food at reasonable prices. They also have a great happy hour!
