If we had to pick one thing, it was the tour desk jumping on us when we had just checked in and making out that this was a part of the checkin progress. ... offering free gifts to entice us in. It all felt a bit yuck!

The location, near everything, but a quiet sleep too! Huge room for NYC The roof top terrace has an up close and personal view of the Chrysler Building and is a great place to relax on couches with little tables that double as heaters! Would stay again!

If you stay here and do not want a timeshare, do not agree to go to the meeting like I did. That was a horrible experience in my opinion. That's on me. I should have said no right off the bat. However, if you do want to get a timeshare, go for it.

The room was fantastic. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a pull out bed. There is a full kitchen, decent sized living room and dining room table. The view was okay, but there is a terrace with a patio that we enjoyed. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere-Grand Central Station, 5th Avenue, Times Square. The hotel staff were very pleasant, especially the doormen.

The upper floor of the building are time share condos so expect a bit of a timeshare sales push at check in. Nothing too high pressure but be aware.

Location is fantastic, just steps from Grand Central and the subway. Easy access to everything you might want to see.

Time-share salesperson stationed in front of the lifts - just be persistent in saying no if you're not interested. They also said in order to use the swimming pool facilities, you'll have to attend one of their seminars which gives you a wristband to access the club facilities. We just passed on it. Would've been great if we were able to use at gym/swimming pool without these strings attached.

The Wyndham time share staff that sit in front of the elevators and try and push you to discuss buying a time share and sitting in on a presentation. When we expressed our complete lack of interest one female staffer was rude and muttered under her breath whilst we moved into the elevators and gave snarly looks everytime we walked past for the remainder of the trip.

The price and rooms were outstanding. The staff from the hotel were fantastic and very accommodating, in particular the door staff. The rooms were huge, modern and clean.

TV and air con needed attention n from maintenance, but they quickly sorted the problems. Queue for lift. We were ok with the timeshare sales offer, but some people may be offended or feel pressured to go. You can say no, but it is a shock initially. We were not bothered and had a 90-minute presentation, but we did get a week's free holiday accommodation out of them. We will need to wait and see how easy it is to use the voucher.

There were some additional staff who advised that we hadnt completed our check in, this turned out to be a fairly hard sell to attend a timeshare meeting. I really didnt appreciate this, felt very forced and I struggled to get my point across to them that our time was limited and attending a 1.5 hour meeting about a timeshare didnt fit in with our plans.

Location of the property is ideal for downtown Manhattan, the staff were all very helpful and even though our room wasn't ready on arrival they stored our bags for us. Room was spacious and well presented, large fridge in the room and the bathroom, although small, was well equipped. Free coffee station was an added bonus.

The central cooling system made the room very cold, and you couldn't turn it off. Also, they have very small shampoo bottles, so you have to realize this before your shower, and ask for a refill. Both are not deal breakers, but I wish I knew this before packing - bring your warm pjs and shampoo.

THE SALES PRESSURE FROM THE WYNDHAM REPS stationed by the lifts. Was initially taken by the offer of the wristbands offering reduced entry to NY attractions before realising there seemed to be strings attached (committing to attending sales pitch for timeshare we had no interest in, at a different location) Bailed out in time but still got targeted a couple more times as we came and went. After day 3 they didn't bother us so counted ourselves 'lucky' We were on the 3rd floor. Good thing was there's an additional 3rd lift that goes as far as the 10th floor so no complaints there with wait times. Bad thing was our room was near the laundry room where people tended to talk late at night while waiting for their wash cycle. We had to go out and ask for hush after midnight a couple of times. We stayed 6 nights. There's no room cleaning, linen or towel changing unless requested it seems. Didn't bother me 🤣 but my wife asked for more towels which didn't materialise until a follow up request a day later

Great location! Bigger room than expected. Do it yourself laundry and dryers really useful (bring a small bottle of laundry liquid) there's also a couple of pharmacy's nearby that probably sell it. Really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with free hot drink and microwave facilities where you could take a takeout meal throughout the day up to 11pm. Great views of Chrysler building and East River behind. Much better than having no option other than your room. Didn't use the gym 🤣 but could be a plus for many... Front desk staff and doormen were friendly. Nice touch offering the changing daily afternoon specials. Only managed the modest glass of Champagne but still appreciated
