Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo complaints.
Very nice room, more geared to multiple night stay but the space was welcome, even for one night. We left before breakfast was available to get into the park early.

United StatesI didn't like the fact that there were no kitchen sponges, detergent, paper towels provided. We found some USED sponges underneath the sink but who wants to use a USED sponge? There was a dish rack but it was disgusting. There was a paper towel holder but it's rusty also underneath the sink next to the dish rack. We had to provide for ourselves. There were a couple dishwashing liquid bottles left but we didn't use them. If there is kitchen and kitchenette is in the room, everything else should be provided to make the stay comfortable. The drawers and cabinets were the utensils/plates are should be cleaned. We didn't feel comfortable using them as they looked dirty. We asked for these items in the front desk but they said they don't have any. The electrical outlet in the living room didn't have any cover, which made it unsafe for our little kids. The curtain in the living area is broken so it made it harder to close the curtains all the way. The bathroom sink drain needs to be cleaned and a Drano needs to be used as it is slow on draining the water in the sink. Lastly, the breakfast provided was not good. Everyday, we were given individual bags that had a bagel, cream cheese, apple, and a store bought muffin (it wasn't good). The coffee and juices are watered down. This lodge is trying to save money by cutting cost. There was not even a toaster in the room.
I like how spacious the family suite is.

United StatesThe room’s refrigerator defrosted during the night and leaked on the floor. The toilet paper holder was broken.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderfully helpful. They even gave us directions to a dog park by the river for our pups.

United StatesBreakfast could be better.
Zion Canyon Lodge is all about location. Just a little over a mile from Visitor entrance, within walking distance of most establishments i town... an added perk is that Zion Guru is just accross the street. You'll need it to rent gear if you're gonna hike the Narrows (trust me, rent the footwear package, don't be cheap and suffer in the narrows). You can also rent e bikes there. Staff is friendly also, although they're a little late in responding to online questions (took them 3-4 days to reply to my email querry about facilities) Breakfast is ready-packed to go continental. Not the best though. But still considering their lower price range, Zion Canyon Lodge is a good value for yoour money

SwitzerlandThe price was quite high for the beginning of the season, comparable to prices inside of the national parks.
We had a good stay, staff was extremely helpful and nice. Coffee, water and juice available in the lobby. Recommend staying in Springdale rather in the park as the view is similar and you have a lot of things around, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, shops, etc.

United States1. Was not informed until arrival that breakfast would be a “grab and go” bag. Once we came down to the counter and saw what it was, the four of us went to a nearby bakery and had lovely quiche and coffee. Additionally, there was no seating available for breakfast, apparently because the seating area in their adjacent building was locked and unavailable. So, there was nowhere on site to really eat this type of breakfast. 2 Though the exterior of the building looked fairly new and well kept up, in our room, the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall, the tub had a large ding that needed to be repaired, and other small maintenance issues were evident. Disappointing. Springdale is a lovely little town, with nice restaurants and shops. However, if we return to visit Zion, we would choose another accommodation.
Proximity to park entrance and helpful staff. They provided great restaurant recommendations.

United StatesValue for the room, price is high, breakfast is just an apple and a prepackaged bagel. Ice machine needs work, ice is not completely frozen and the machine leaks water all over the laundry room. There only one ice machine so you have to get your ice really early before it runs out.
Great location.
