Have loved LP, since my first visit, in 2007. I even started looking to buy a summer home there, to get out of Buenos Aires but then, the banking crisis of 2008 happened and losing 50% of my value, overnight nixed that idea. Sadly, for ten yrs. since 2013, I wasn't able to return, because of various problems but now, that Uruguay is open and my challenges are done, I'll be back twice a yr. for sure. We were there during peak high season around New Years so it was packed with college age students on holiday. There are many choices to eat, and cute shops with a hippy vibe.
