This beautiful Posada was on a quiet street and minutes away from the historical center. The room was very tastefully decorated and spacious. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was elaborate with baked cakes as an option. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Colonia Del Sacramento.

Bathroom needs to be refreshed and refurbished. Pool area would need better chairs, they are very uncomfortable.

Our superior room was very small (much smaller than advertised in photos), and there was a small issue with the bathroom (loo flush button didn’t work- I had to fix it myself). It would have been good to have a safe box in the room.

Colonia is a quaint old town, not a modern metropole, so the buildings reflect this. Nothing was wrong, but don't expect brand new, modern furniture and facilities.

Property has a pool, which was most refreshing (in November). Great location for walking around the old town, Charming property with friendly and helpful staff.

Could use more sound-proofing; noise traveled, though fortunately it was quiet later at night.

Good hotel in a historic building. A generous breakfast was included and the dining space had a nice atmosphere. The location was perfect, in the historic district and walking distance from the bus/ ferry terminal. Comfortable room, though there was noise at times from the upstairs room.

It’s a small point but no coffee or water in the room, so you need to go out . You can get water from reception but the coffee seemed very expensive.

Lovely staff and a very beautiful old style hotel . Position is great. Swimming pool area also very nice with pool towels. We enjoyed our stay a lot and felt very relaxed.

We liked the friendly staff, Raquel, Gabriella and Claudia. It’s a beautiful property in the old section of the town. Room was spacious with very comfortable mattress. The shower head was a joy in the walk-in shower.

The staff is wonderful. From our first communication they went out of their way to answer all my questions, give us the best room for our needs and provide us with any information we required. They recommended a great restaurant, advised us on taxis and welcomed us like family (as my mother had been their guest in the past). I couldn't recommend it more. A big plus in winter, the room was really warm with the AC and the shower had great water pressure.

the room was very nice, we had a great view to the River and lot of sun light during all day, but the windows had blackout in order to sleep without any light and have privacy.

Beautiful posada located directly in the colonial part of town. Well located and exactly where you want to stay to be able to walk to everything. The building is very classical and beautiful. The room was pretty spacious and the employees were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our bags before and after our check out so we could walk around and spend more time in town.
