Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandHotels name says 'old town' but it was actually quite a walk to the main attractions, not big problem but just leaving it here as a remark.
Very beautiful hotel, nice rooms and area outside, superfriendly staff; we were also able to store our luggage after check-out.

MoldovaIt would be nice to have a chair in the room and wall hooks near the room entrance.
It's a nice guesthouse run by friendly staff. It's located 800m from tourist attractions that is very convenient. The rooms are clean. It's a good choice for a 2-4 days stay in Bukhara.

Hong KongOnly one toilet and bathroom. That is not enough for guest. The toilet door cannot be locked firmly.
I stayed a dorm room for 5-people. The space is large enough for us.

Uruguay1. They only accept cash, which leads to some confusion because the prices are in dollars... sometimes. So you never know how much you'll end up paying. 2. There's only one toilet/shower. The place wasn't full, and I still always had to wait. 3. There's a man who speaks English but he is never there. So if you need anything, the owner just calls him. 4. The rooms are comfortable, but in a basement. No window or anything similar.
Breakfast is great, the owners are very nice, the room was fine.

BrazilIt was a bit hard to communicate in check in (staff didn't speak much English) and we had only an hour for breakfast (9:00-10:00) which didn't give us much flexibility in morning hours.
The hotel is beautiful, and the twin room is really comfortable. The location is great too, walking distance to the main sightseeing points.

ChinaThe staff who communicated with me before we arrived successfully made me angry. The terms in my booking showed that my room rate included one-way airport transfer service, but he said:"" free transfer is from hote to airportl, but not from airport to hotel. His explain was so ridiculous. Except for this, when I try to check the pick up price from airport to hotel, the guy who answered it without any sense, his answers just like a robot, always said the same words that the price from the railway station to hotel. So this hotel can not do what they promised and I felt unsatisfied.
The decorations of lobby is fantastic. The old man in the front desk was helpful though he just speaks Russia. The breakfast was enough but the fruits were not so fresh. The location is ok and very nearby the Chor Minor.

MalaysiaWhen I arrived the property was locked and no staff was around. I had to call the reception (Mr. Behrouz) and they forgot about my booking and my arrival. Also besides the reception (Mr. Behrouz) none of the other staff can speak English.
Fantastic location within walking distance to all the popular tourist sights.

GermanyUnfortunately, there was no kitchen even though they advertise the shared kitchen, but they don’t allow guests to use it. Also, the receptionist was never there and despite sending him WhatsApp messages, he sometimes didnt answer.
The owner, an elderly man, was very kind and tried to serve us various breakfast options each day, regardless our dietary restrictions. The hotel was clean, and there was drink water downstairs next to the reception.

IndiaThe attitude of the front office manager was improper. At the first sight, he was rude & his behaviour was not acceptable. Of course, later on he tried to correct himself & also succeeded to a great extent. But as they say, ‘first impression is the last impression’!
Over all it was a good experience. But there is room for improvement.

IndiaThere was a small error in the date of departure mentioned on the hotel registration slip (a must at all hotels for tourists), which led to some confusion during my check-in at the next hotel at Tashkent. But MR Bekhruz acted upon it swiftly and things got sorted.
Well maintained, immaculate. It’s about a comfortable 20min walk from Bukhara’s main monuments of interest, which worked very well for me because it gave me a chance to explore all the lanes on my walks to the old town centre. Staff is helpful and the hotel offers a smooth station pick up and drop (at an extra but reasonable cost). Mr Bekhruz at the front desk was a big help. He speaks excellent English which made communication easy. Also quick to respond on WhatsApp.

AustraliaBeautiful building and room and a great location, very close to sites but far enough away to not be busy. Very nice staff and a really calm, peaceful vibe in the place. I had a very comfortable stay. Only downside was that I forgot to tell them I was vegetarian, as I didn't expect any meat in the breakfast, but that's my fault. But if you don't eat meat, let them know! Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Great. The hotel is beautiful, the lobby is nice art deco. The breakfast was truly abundant and tasty. The staff was very helpful. The wifi in my room (underground) was a bit weak, but it worked ok. I could keep my luggage in the hotel after the check-out. The staff called an Yandex taxi for me.

SwedenThe bed is so hard and lumpy. But it works. The location is 10 min walk from the pediatrician zone. After dark, part of it is completely dark. Cash only.
Cool place with big rooms. I got an upgrade and early check-in included. Great AC. You can control it yourself. The breakfast is local and unique. I got an offer since I arrived early for breakfast also on arrival for $3 extra. A mini market 5 min walk away. Is one the main host who speaks English, but he is always available via WhatsApp if you need to reach him.

NetherlandsBesides breakfast, the service was rather poor. The owners did not speak English well and were most of the time not around. We tried to pay for the hotel multiple times but finding someone in the hotel to help us with this, was difficult. First they promised card payment, and after 2 days of trying to get the machine, the card machine did not work. Then, when we got the cash the same day, no one was around. This could be resolved by connecting the ringbell in the reception, which now did not seem to work. As we stayed in winter, the room was often cold, despite the floor heating. Sometimes the floor heating also did not work. Hot water was only enough for 1 shower. On the first day, the hotel only provided a thin sheet on the bed - but it is winter. We need a blanket, especially since the room did not have central heating other than the floor heating. The blankets were in the room but we had to put covers on them ourselves. Although some parts of the room were spotless clean when we got the room (the toilet, sink) the floor still had some dirt on it. Furthermore, the shower curtain was dirty and the covers for the blankets we found had some yellow stains on them.
10/10 for the nice woman making breakfast! We really enjoyed the local breakfast and considered this the highlight of the stay. Every day they prepared a different snack with the standard breakfast option, and there was always lots of fruit on the table. The hotel is decorated beautifully. We really loved the murals, especially the one in the breakfast room. The seating area in the hotel room was also very good, with comfortable chairs. Rooms were quite big, it was quiet at night and the location of the hotel was relatively central.
