The family that owns the guesthouse is amazing, extremely nice. Great breakfast, great atmosphere. I absolutely recommend the place. I also like the fact that it is not too big and feels nice and cosy.

The owner is quite warm and goes out of his way to help guests. I had to check out at 5.30 am and he was up and ready with my registration and also gave me breakfast for the journey. The location is excellent. It is in the Old Bukhara city. Owner cannot speak English though and can only read Cyrillic so be prepared to use translate for everything.

The host was really kind and made us feel very comfortable. We had a great stay, the breakfast was really good, always on time and very diverse. Perfect location, the room was spacious and had all the essentials.

Have stayed in various properties in Bukhara previously but this small and cozy accomodation has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for arranging the Suhoor (Ramadan season) and upgrading my room. I really had a wonderful rest and enjoyed my Pre-dawn meal. Million thanks for that. It's not the accomodation what made my stay memorable but the host who treat me as a brother and son. Definitely coming back. See you!

Beds could have been a bit softer

Very friendly family, always willing to help. Had free breakfast and I even got a surprise free dinner. They were worried I was cold and turned on the heater for me. They also helped me book a taxi late at night. Even though we did not speak the same language, everything worked out with Google translate. The room was large and had everything I needed. The hostel is located in a quiet alley, but very close to major sights.

No full length or big mirror in the room (only a small one in the bathroom) but when shared with the owner, he has promised to put that up as well as a small shelf in the shower area for keeping soap, shampoo etc in all the rooms.

Basic facilities in a good location. The owner and his family were very hospitable and accommodating and made the stay very comfortable.

I don’t even know how to describe it... The hosts are very hospitable and friendly, they will immediately help you with everything you ask for. The guest house is located 1 minute from the old town, bazaar and other tourist places. Everything in the room was very clean. Breakfast is very tasty. As my sister said: I would like to live here!

The location is fantastic. The rooms, though minimalistic, are spacious enough and comfortable (with plenty of well-placed electric sockets). But the extremely gracious staff/host family is by far the best part of staying here: they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Excellent value for money.

Careful, difficult to see when dark

Family is lovely, beds a comfy, we had a great stay. Breakfast is plenty and WiFi works great! The location is also very good, 2min walk to the main attractions. We could even park the motorbikes close the gate, under the owner's bedroom.

Window coverings do not block out a lot of light so can be difficult to go to sleep early or sleep in.

Small guest house run by a lovely family, we enjoyed morning conversations with the host (via Google translate). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Perfect location within a short walk from most attractions.

A comfortable quiet guesthouse run by a lovely retired couple. I enjoyed several conversations with the hosts via Google Translate, and it made me feel very welcome as a guest. I had the entire dorm room to myself. Has all the amenities you need. The breakfast served fresh every morning had a lot of variety from fresh fruit to fried eggs and sausages and a lot more. Good Wi-Fi and location.

Once I had checked in and had some questions, I couldn't find anyone to help so really the staff were non existent. I thought the place looked quite sad and run down and I payed too much for the average standard

I stayed for most of the day, but my train was leaving in the night so I didn't get the full nights experience. On arrival I was greeted and given a little information.

There was no curtain on main door, so very low on privacy. And the washroom door is right by the main door, so everything was visible from the house courtyard - which was very inconvenient. Noticed the host gave different breakfast to others foreigners while to us, he gave stale bread and fruits and also disappeared in between breakfast due to which we couldnt ask for anything more - bit rude! Biggest disappointment was - apparently Bukhara has no electricity from 9AM-5PM, which we got to know from a common water seller on the road, however our host did not mention this to us. This meant, we had to shower with cold water and get ready in the dark, while this could have been easily avoided and we could have gotten ready early, had to told us. Also meant no place to rest mid-day, so would suggest take a hotel. Room had other cupboards/ things kept. Also had 5 beds, out of which one was very poor condition, so total 4 beds only.

Ok on cleanliness and bed comfort. Location was fine. Was helpful in giving boiled water when we asked.

Flush was not working properly. After every use, we have to pour water on comode to clean it, though they did not provide any bucket. We used a 5 liter water can as bucket. We told the owner's brother about this. He took no action. The owner is good man, but his English-speaking brother has some attitude problem. He charged 5000 som from us for just 1 liter water bottle, while we purchased 5 lit water from a nearby shop by 6000 som.

Located in walkable distance from most of the major monuments of Bukhara. Nice breakfast.
