Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Place was dirty. Hotel manager was miserable and unfriendly. General up keep and condition of hotel bar and pool was poor. Lots of noise around midnight in the lobby area. Continued for about an hour. I wanted a quiet room.

The staff were very slow and not very accommodating. Several of the staff Were not friendly. Hairdryer didn’t work and they didn’t have one to give to me to replace it .

Room decor needs total makeover from paint color, furniture, to linens. It felt dark instead of bright and relaxing. Simple fixes. Could not get our curtains to open completely to see the ocean view. TV picture was grainy.
Couldn’t be closer to the airport. We were able to walk across the road to the terminal in 5 minutes. Hotel perched above a beautiful bay. Lovely views. Food was good. Nice staff. Clean swimming pool. We stayed one night.

My toilet wasn’t even bolted to the floor Only got one hot shower in the 7 days I was there; water was cold. Waitstaff at the restaurant was not the nicest Beds were really small

Facility is worn, need more pool towels, understaffed at the bar/restaurant(like every place).
Emelda at checkin was the best customer facing representative that saw in two weeks on the Islands. It is the easiest to get to from the airport.

No elevator, no refrigerator or microwave in the room. no change available for twenty or less and no card ability to use at snack or drink machines. No ice machine have to get it from front desk. Was not able to play music in my room too loud.

Too far from shops, restaurants etc. Not usually an issue but taxis aren't cheap here. No fridge in room. Everything pretty dated & worn looking.

It’s an old property with a single staircase for the upper floor- very dated. The staff is great, the property very clean- it’s just a very tired property.

The shower in the bathroom was so small it was barely usable. I could not find an easy way to keep my head out of the shower stream to wash my hair, then it was hard to rinse my back because the shower head did not adjust and only hit the back of my head. Of course, you’re also fighting the curtain blowing in on you. Also, my knees hit the wall in front of me when sitting down on the toilet. I’m only a little more than 5’7ish. Lastly, the water temperature in the shower would fluctuate from really hot to really cold during the shower without me touching the handle. In my opinion, they should have taken just a little more space from the room to make the bathroom more functional. It’s the beach, showers are necessary but I did not look forward to having to use that shower. I’m not super picky maintenance, but they did put a cover on the bed that had an old what’s up what’s up blood stain. I did tell them and they changed it quickly, but the linens could use some upgrading.
The staff were all incredibly friendly! The food was also exceptionally good! The room itself was very spacious. It was not luxurious or fancy, but it was kept fairly well clean.

Clean quiet and professional
Location was easy.. it’s just outside town but wasn’t really interested in that as we were sailing and just wanted to crash quickly. Nice pool area…
