The staff were amazing (thank you to Ms Hugh in particular). The porters were fantastic and so friendly, all of them! My room was amazing, the shuttle offered to and from the beach and Old Town was so great. They have a whatsapp chat so that you can contact them easily too, that was great. Gym was AMAZING.

One of the best hotels i stayed at during my trip to Asia, the hotel and room were beautiful and spacious, pool and restaurant is exactly how it looked in the photos. Staff were very attentive helped me to reserve taxi pickup from airport, buying tickets for shows/day-trips through them. When I wanted to send some luggage home they were kind enough and very efficient to help me organise with a vendor they trust. Large selection for breakfast with delicious fruit, western, asian style breakfast and fresh juice, had egg bar and made to order noodles that would change everyday.

AustraliaThe only thing that I didn’t like was the white tiles around the edge of the pool were super slippery, the family rooms shower was in the bath which was high and there was nothing to hold onto getting in/ out of shower.
The location was excellent, staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful, food was great, great selection of our included breakfast, spa was good, value for money definitely.

AustraliaThe bikes were a bit dated and really need to be updated. However, the ones available did serve their purpose. Availability of bike lights would also be an idea to consider. There was a trick to getting the water pressure in the shower right. Once we got that figured out, we were very happy
The Anio Boutique Hotel was 1.5km from Old Town, which was easily walkable, but with the hotel offering regular shuttles to and from Old Town that made that trip that little bit more comfortable given the heat in Hoi An in August. The hotel also offered push bikes to get around. These were a little dated, but enabled you to get to more places not serviced by the shuttle. The shuttle also took you to An Bang Beach, which was 3km from the hotel. This was a very nice spot to visit. The sunsets were lovely. The rooms were large and comfortable. Ours offered a balcony, over looking the pool which was a nice bonus. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, but special thanks goes to Jasmine, who made our stay that little bit nicer. Breakfast offered plenty of options, and was delicious. The a la carte menu was both tasty and good values. The pool was large, leaving space for all to enjoy the water and surrounds. The gym was well fitted out and the spa services were excellent with competitive pricing

SingaporeOur air conditioning took a while to get cold at times, but it wasn’t anything to be fussed about.
The room was big and equipped with a balcony overlooking a park, breakfast buffet was served each morning with a wide variety of cuisines to choose from! The staff were very helpful, giving loads of pointers on how to get around Hoi An as well as activities to do. The shuttle bus transport was extremely nice as well to get from the Old Town back to the hotel.

New ZealandOur stay at Anio was amazing from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our time there. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given lots of useful information about Hoi An and the surrounding area, which really helped us make the most of our trip. We ended up booking several activities directly through the hotel, which was not only convenient but also very well organised. One of our highlights was the Hoi An Memories Show — an unforgettable experience that the hotel arranged for us. Communication was always smooth and easy via their WhatsApp hotline, whether we were coordinating shuttle pickups, booking day trips, or asking for recommendations. The on-site restaurant was excellent — after arriving late on our first night, we were so pleased to have our first Cao Lau there, and it was fantastic. The pool and courtyard area were a peaceful oasis — I enjoyed my breakfast out there every morning, and we spent a couple of afternoons relaxing with cocktails in the pool during happy hour. One of my unexpected highlights? A truly epic club sandwich delivered straight to me on a pool lounger. We also had a fantastic experience at the in-house spa — I booked a 90-minute body massage and loved being able to simply relax in my room right after. The free shuttle service to both Hoi An Old Town and An Bang Beach was incredibly useful. We especially appreciated the hotel’s partnership with Dolphin Restaurant on the beach — being able to use their loungers, towels, and showers made for an easy and enjoyable beach day. A huge thank you to the team for going above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and memorable. Special thanks to Snow, Hannah, Tom, Dolphin, and Gin — you made us feel so well looked after. Highly recommend Anio as a base for exploring Hoi An and beyond — we truly didn’t want to leave.
