They made it too difficult to use the swimmingpool. You need to ask for it 20 minutes before you go, somebody needs to walk with you and you can’t swim after 16:00

I was so delighted with my stay that I booked this studio apartment again. It is perfectly suited for a single guest and ideal for a brief visit to Ho Chi Minh City. The apartment offers air conditioning, a washing machine, a comfortable bed and armchair, and an Android TV. The bathroom and toilet are adequately appointed, and there is a handy wardrobe for your belongings. Finally, the location is excellent—just a 10–20-minute walk across the bridge to the city centre, or a 5–10-minute taxi ride. Nearby attractions include Ben Thanh Market and the landmark tower. For the more adventurous, Lotte Mart in the southern district is only a 10-minute taxi ride away. This is truly the perfect spot.

Fantastic location. The view from the apartment was breathtaking. Pharmacy, supermarket, and beautiful coffee shop on ground floor; with traditional Hoi Chi Minh life surrounding you, and all within a stones throw from District 1.

I don’t think the air conditioning was working so it was really warm at night.

Had a great room on the 7th floor, a really nice staff member helped me check in. Room was tidy and clean.

The room was a bit run down, with stains on walls. The internet stopped working at least 4 times a day. The gym was unavailable (although it was advertised).

Nice view, close to District 1, not bad value for money. Very nice cleaning staff.

The aircon was leaking but as soon as I mentioned it to the owner they had a man come to address the problem...very quick service

There weren't any tea towels, and there was no power point in the bedroom but they were aware and have supplied an extension lead.

I didn't like my first motel and went searching for a better one. This one was available, it had almost everything I needed and it was well priced too for three weeks It is centrally located, so it's not far from most tourist places. It has a seven eleven, a pharmacy, 2 mini grocery stores and a restaurant all within the ground floor of the building. They offered to clean the apartment each week but I declined. I will definitely book there again.

The pool was closed almost the whole day on Monday- would have been nice to know beforehand. Would have been nice with a bedside table for each side of the bed.

You never know what apartment you’re getting. Ours was worn and the Japanese style toilet in one bathroom wasn’t working.

River Gate apartments are always lovely to stay at. Great location. Easy walking distance to most things ie convenience store, pharmacy, food stalls, coffee, etc.

I feel comfortable staying here during my working time in HCM. Service and affordable price for us. The apartment is located close to center is District 1, so it's easy to transport and there are many restaurants and stores nearby.
