This is one the best hostels I’ve stayed at. It was so clean, the beds were soft and comfy. There was plenty of locker space and shelves in the bed area. The pool was lovely. It’s not a very social hostel for solo travellers but the staff were super welcoming!

I didn't like the pricing of the tours and the transportation. I booked the day boat tour to Lan Ha Bay and it was 100K VND more than what the tour offices within a block or two walk of the hostel were asking for similar tours. Also they booked me transportation to Hanoi which cost more than other options (but it was fast and Daichi does NOT mess around, probably the best transportation company in North Vietnam).

I loved this hostel. The food was okay and there was free beer between 7-7:30pm by the pool (yes, there's a pool!). The bed was comfortable, the locker was spacious, and the bunk contained an additional cabinet locker. It's right in downtown Cat Ba.

Wow, what an amazing hostel! It's fairly new and you can tell they try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I stayed in the dorm, which was very clean. The pool was also clean and refreshing, but what made this hostel truly outstanding for me was the exceptionally friendly staff. They really went above and beyond with helping me organise trips, booking buses, and providing information. Special thanks go to Shelly who helped me a lot during my stay. This place is (thankfully) not a party hostel, but it is still easy to socialise during the happy hour in the evening or at the restaurant. This was definitely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at.

I stayed 3 days oversleep hostel. I was amazing place you must stay when you go to cat ba . Everything was perfect. Very clear, friendly staff. When compare with other hostel in Vietnam which I stayed this is my favorite place

Not a negative but it’s not a social hostel, which I liked, but others may not be aware.

Super comfy beds, shower and toilet area was cleaned regularly. Nice hangout area near the pool. Staff were all helpful.

Super modern and ultra clean! The owners were lovely and always said hello. Lovely pool. Happy hour between 7-7:30pm. They have a breakfast (50 Dong) and dinner options. I only stayed 2 nights to do a Ha Long tour but I wish I could have stayed here longer!

The bar area and tour prices were high for Catba.

Great location. Pool area and free beer make it very social and easy to meet people. I booked the boat tour through reception, and it was great fun. They also helped organise me, a coach to Hanoi. The room is very good and private. Bathrooms are big.

Water in the shower was not very hot. It did not matter as it was hot weather when we were there.

This property genuinely exceeded expectations as a low priced option. The rooms and facilities were clearly very new and in great condition. All super clean. There is a pool and bar (apparently, I didn't have time to visit!). The staff were also superb - knowledgeable and friendly!

Ms Hana, made everything so easy during the stay from renting bikes, laundry, fresh towels. Great outdoor area and free beers between 7 - 7:30pm are great!

Just a fantastic hostel, and unbelievably good value for money. I think it used to be a hotel (and still has some private rooms), so the service is more like a hotel, and there's a proper restaurant on site. The dorm was new, spacious, and really comfortable, with great AC. Free beer at happy hour made it very sociable and a great place to meet people. The staff were excellent - they organised my boat trip, scooter rental, and bus back to Hanoi.
