Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe family room was full of beds, so no space at all for bags, everything needs to be stored on the floor (there's only enough space to walk to the bathroom /bed, so you always step over your stuff) or other beds. There's a bed side table, but no bedside lamp and no light switch near the bed. A little fridge would be nice. Breakfast is only fried egg with bread, there is a menu but you don't get to choose. Food is included but if you want a drink for breakfast you have to pay - found that a bit weird and never experienced that anywhere else.
The location is good, just a short walk to the ferry for the national park. Communication via what's app before booking was good - although it would've been nice to get a bit more help regarding how to get here (what bus, schedule, price etc). I had to book a big family room with 3 beds as nothing else was available, but it was ok - the room was basic, the aircon worked and everything was clean. There's a nice terrace in front of the room to sit. There is a mosquito net over the bed. Bike hire for a fee and help with tour booking available. The host organised the bus back to HCMC to stop at the guest house and collect me there. Card payment was available, which is really handy because I didn't find an ATM in walking distance.

New ZealandBreakfast was average, we would have expected to have a coffee or drink included. Evening boat tour a waste of money, we saw more walking through the National Park.
Comfy bed and clean spacious room with good mozzie net. Own balcony with table and chairs was great. Food was great, especially the fresh spring rolls. Mr Co was helpful with bikes, etc

CanadaThe food was good, plenty of options, even for vegetarian. The host was very acomadating. He spoke good English and helped arrange the tours and helped me get to the right location. He picked me up and dropped me off at the bus stop and even waited to make sure I got on the bus. I expressed interest in learning Vietnamese and he was very helpful with this too.

EstoniaSome of the tours that the lodge recommended were no that satisfying. We ended up taking quite many with eventually quite high price as we were family of 5. I would not recommend night safari or the boat trip.
Nice lodge, very reasonable price for overnighting. The owner has good knowledge of the park. We really enjoyed the tour with him to nearby cocoa farm.

LatviaSometimes it was hard to watch that the little girl was torturing doggies and did not understand us when we asked her to stop.
We loved the proximity to the Cat Tien national park, where we rented the bicycles inside the park and cycled the whole day. Amazing fresh homecooked food, tasty coffee and the best smoothies! Comfy beds and the best mosquito nets i have ever seen. And most of all we enjoyed the company of the cutest doggies - Lucky and her pup and the cat.

United KingdomThe owner is a lifesaver, I accidently booked the wrong dates, he rectified my mistake quickly and organised last minute transport for us from HCMC, we are very grateful as we wouldn't have been able to visit otherwise. The homestay is located a short walk from the park entrance, we were able to visit every day of our stay, and we loved the park. The homestay is surrounded by greenery. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We liked having our own space to sit outside. They also have friendly pets, which is always a bonus! The mosquitto net was the best we have had in Vietnam, and the shower was hot. The owners are very helpful with booking tours and transport. The home cooked food was delicious, especially the chicken wings and the fish in the clay pot. Thank you for an amazing stay

NetherlandsAmazing hospitality, excellent food and a great location. Mr. Co brought us everywhere, arranged excursions and assisted with booking bus tickets. Although excursions cost slightly more than when booking it yourself, the service was absolutely worth it. We did a boat tour, the singing gibbon trek and went to the primate rescue center. Besides that, we also hiked and cycled in the national park ourselves.

United StatesWould love to be able to sit outside a bit more comfortably and enjoy the nature. Maybe some pillows on the chairs?
We loved hearing the gibbons in the morning, being close to the park entrance, the comfortable beds/pillows, the coconut smoothies, and the great staff. We especially appreciated them making lunches for us to take to the park and helping us catch the local bus onward to Dalat.

Amazing experience! Gibbon Singin is a true homestay, the familly have an open home that they offer you to be part of if you let them. The rooms have all the basic things you need, a good bed, a shower, a quiet pouch, AC and well cleaned. We had all our meals at Gibbon. Try the garlic and ginger chicken in cley pot, fantastic 😋 The host gives you all the tips and help you need. We were advised you to have a 6 o clock breakfast, take the first ferry, rent bikes and walk to Crocodile Lake. It was fantastic. We saw gibbons, macaques, birds and crocodiles. Go to Singing Gibbon 👍

PolandWe had a bit of trouble getting to Nam Cat Tien due to a change in timetables and bus stations. The stay in the national park made up for all these inconveniences. As for accommodation: the location is fantastic, the cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped, the area is calm and the host is friendly and helpful. You can also drink delicious coffee from the plantation of his mother-in-law.
