Beds a little hard for me personally

Pool was exceptional Staff were so friendly and helpful Breakfast was delicious so many choices Heaps of restaurants nearby WoodHouse was our favorite. Free buses at main road to both Grandworld and town.

There is a strange void that runs alongside all the bathrooms, meaning the rooms are not soundproofed at all- you can hear everything that goes on in the room above or below you. This was particularly a problem when we had a very noisy family above playing loud music while showering in their bathroom at 1am. Some of the furniture around the pool looked tired and grubby.

We had 2 interconnecting rooms.The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.The rooms were huge and the beds comfortable. Location was peaceful and quiet but also had some good restaurants within walking distance. It was also near the stop for the free shuttle bus around the island.

The breakfast-it didn't have really good options. The bread seemed liked it was stale. The bacon was never given, juice was not so up to the mark. I took extra service like massage- it was not up to the mark.

I liked the ambience. The resort was very calm and quiet with lots of greenery. It felt very warm.

Gorgeous property in a great location. Easily accessible to beach or public transportation. All facilities were great including pool and breakfast buffet. Worth the stay!

I am sure there is a room for improvments, the breakfast, as it does not suit the high-end level of the hotel nor all hotel residents, and the quality of breakfast needs to be reviewed. Wish you all the best.

The reception staff are very helpful at any time. They have all the respect and appreciation. The hotel location is very good. Very close to the beach site but a bit far from the main tourist attractions. The Wi-Fi connection is very strong. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially for families or honeymooners. Many thanks to the management of the upscale hotel who seek the comfort of customers all the time. With all my respect.

Bugs seemed to get into the room. It wasn’t much but it was noticeable but they were always cleaned up when they cleaned the room. Would be nice to have a bar or some drinks at the pool. They do sell drinks at reception from a fridge which was very cheap! But having some cocktails by the pool would be a nice touch.

Resort was very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was good with a good variety plus the egg station too. Room was spacious along with the bathroom. Pool was nice and since it was quiet we could easily choose whatever chairs we wanted. It was nice having a deep part in the pool as well as some resorts don’t have this. There were nice gardens around the property which made it look and feel tropical. Staff were nice and informative. When we checked in the receptionist was very clear with instructions which made understanding everything easy. Even though it’s a little far from the Main Street and shops and the resort didn’t have a restaurant, there were restaurants across the road and up and down the street which were only a few minutes walk away so finding food was never an issue.

The rooms were spacious and clean, everything we needed for a great stay. The pool is nice and wasn't crowded during our stay. Breakfast was good - a nice variety of things on offer - although a black tea option would have been lovely! Staff were helpful and friendly when we needed. It is a quiet location about 5 minute walk to the beach, with a quick scramble right to find the sandy beach which is a lovely spot. Plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk too.

Great family room , had interconnecting rooms both rooms were large , one with a massive bed other with 2 double bed. Pool close to all rooms. Nice pool. Lots of loungers. Breakfast nice but limited. Location - nice to relax , not much else around - on a scooter it is good. Even just to get to a better selection of restaurants. Approx 20 mins in car to get to night markets. Great beach only 10 mins walk. Where you can access the same beaches as the fancier hotels. We would return but hire scooters.

as traveling through whole Vietnam, this was our best accommodation. I can only recommend. first of all, the location is great. The resort is not too big, just enough and it is very close to the best beach on the island. And it is located in a small street where you can find everything you need (3fantastic restaurants where we never paid more than 400 per dinner for 2!). In GT, there was beautiful garden, there was papayas and cucumbers growing in front of our windows. The accommodation was great for us. Spatious rooms, terrace, and firm bed mats, what we appreciated. ….and the breakfast! Fantastic fusion with many options. We loved it!

The Resort is outside from the Center of the Village, so you need Taxi or Bike to go there.. The Sunbeds at the Pool as Recommendation need new Cushions😍

A really nice, beautiful small Resort with an amazing tropical Garden......Really friendly and nice Staff, Breakfast is also really good. The Resort is booked by a lot of Families with small Children , so sometimes it could be a little but noisy😄 But, on my next Visit to Phu Quoc i sure Book there again Easy to Rent Bikes Near to an amazing Beach with Restaurants.

We loved our stay here and would have prolonged it if it was vacant. The beautiful garden and the tranquility of the space is made for real relaxation and quiet. The room we got was beautiful built with traditional wooden style and a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good and had everything that we needed with lots of fruits and warm dishes. On the street you will find restaurants for dinner. And the beach is a 10 min walk down the street, clean and perfect for swimming and sunsets. The main road is also a 10 min walk where you find the free green bus to the airport and here you can also buy fruits and water. Wonderful staff too, thank you!

Only a few rooms are set back from the pool and had I know I would have requested a poolside room. Was not a huge issue though at all.

It was a wonderful 5 nights stay. Great location, lovely restaurant named Streamline nearby we ate 3 nights there it was delicious. The nearby beach to the right at Ocean bay was beautiful. The beach to the left Bamboo beach not as nice but cheap paddle board and kayak hire. The hotel was beautiful, clean, the pool better than the photos even. The breakfast was delicious with plenty options, including waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, toast etc etc. The rooms are large with fabulous big hot showers. A very lovely stay thank you! I cannot forget to mention the lovely staff, very kind and professional x

The bungalow we had was very spacious, the bathroom was huge, it's fantastic. And the best thing about this resort is its amazing beautiful garden, we were so sad when it was time to leave. A wonderful tidy beach and the restaurants nearby were just perfect to us, too.

Very close to the beach, very spacious room & bathroom, nice swimming pool. They provider to well for pool/beach. Perfect for families with kids. The owner is super friendly, staff speaks poor English and it’s somewhat difficile to comunicare. Breakfast was nice with good choices.

If you’re a solo traveller, it’s important to note that it is quite away from town. No restaurant (or bar) for evening.

I can’t think of one thing I would change.

Idyllic small resort full of friendly staff and guests. Great food options both on the property and close by within walking distance. It was perfect for much needed r&r. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The pool and lounge area is peaceful with plenty of sun and shaded spaces. I’m so happy we chose Golden Topaz.
