I spent here 4 days and 3 nights and since the beginning Nhan and Yummy made me feel comfortable and were always ready to answer my needs. The hotel's atmosphere is very Vietnamese in style with lots of plants.

My light in the bunk didn't work and the curtains aren't black out.

It was great, staff were amazing, location is great - close enough to the main square but far enough away that it is peaceful. The pool was excellent and bunk room was fine - as expected.

As a solo female traveller this place felt like home away from home. The staff really go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience - from the moment I booked they texted me asking if I need help with booking transportation. The place is clean and tidy. Delicious breakfast onsite! The location is perfect - far enough from the city noise yet close enough o walk to old town, great restaurants, and the night market. I’d def stay here again - highly recommended!!

Great location, surrounded by really good restaurants and a nice 5 minute walk into old town. Pool was good for a cool down and the 'order off the menu' breakfast was always excellent. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lee made great pizza 🍕 Would definitely recommend

Very clean, the workers were super kind, breakfast was amazing, there was a pool, which was needed as it’s like 30 degrees! They have a beautiful common room, lots of tables to get work done, both inside and out. The wifi was also very good, no troubles working at all!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect! - Location is great: close enough to the touristic area to walk (by bike it's even better) but far enough so it is really quiet. - Staff is very attentive and nice. Owners are super nice. - Room is big, with a great view! - Everything is extremely clean. - Breakfast is good and not expensive. - Pool is really clean and refreshing. We stayed there for 11 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend 200%!

The place is super comfy, the staff so helpful and the hosts are lovely. We had such a nice time here, thanks to all the recommendations from Rosy and Lee. We recommend the river view rooms since the view is stunning and it’s especially calm at night. Thanks for the amazing time in Hoi An, it was such a pleasure to stay here :) PS: when staying here you have to try all the pizza flavours, they are amazing and come in literally all sizes!

The staff were lovely, it was a 15 minute walk into the centre or 5 minutes on a grab bike. It’s nice and spacious and relatively comfortable as far as hostels go.

Rosie and Lee where so helpful, and I was made to feel very welcome here, so much so I stayed an extra 2 nights. The hotel/hostel is clean and well thought out, with many chill out areas and a scenic river view. The food is top notch especially the gigantic home made pizza, and egg coffee. My dorm was beautiful with extra length beds good curtains for privacy and the shared bathroom had a good shower which was separated from the toilet. The place its self is very arty with beautiful paintings There are many trips available and Rosie does an egg coffee workshop which I really enjoyed. Tge pool is super clean, the location is perfect with everything you need on your doorstep, if I could rate it higher than 10 I would, highly recommend this hotel/hostel

I didn't enjoy Hoi An at all because it is extremely touristy. However, I still had a great time and that is thanks to the lovely stuff and the great location! I missed out on the gigantic Pizza which is a shame but that also means I need to come back at some point.

We had an amazing stay at Calm house ! From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly welcome and attentive ,making us feel right at home . The location was perfect ,really close to the old town , local resaurant ,cafe shop and made it easy for us to explore the town

The walls were so thin I could hear everything in the next room, especially when people had an early alarm. I felt like I couldn't make phone calls/noise because I didn't want to disturb anyone. Also, the bedding wasn't very comfortable, the duvet was a bit thin and small.

I loved my stay at Calm House, the receptionists were so sweet and helpful and seemed genuinely interested in chatting whenever I saw them. Tu recommended a great tailor and Yumi (not sure on spelling) sent me a list of great restaurants which was so helpful when navigating the huge choice in Hoi An and trying local foods! The breakfast was absolutely incredible too, I had the My Quang twice because it was soooo good! I didn't book my transport with them (I wish I had!) and they were so helpful when I had issues, making calls for me and hoping to find a solution. The location was slightly out of town but the neighbourhood felt very safe and I enjoyed my walks and saying hello to all the locals! I hope to come back for another visit.
