Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeJust some ants in the room and toilet, but not a big deal!
Perfect location to stay if you want to explore the national park. Bed was a bit too soft but pillows were comfy. Room and toilet are clean and well equipped. Breakfast (banh mi and coffee) was good! Staff was friendly and helpful :)

This is a great little family run place right near park entrance. My room was rustic but clean and the bed was firm but super comfortable. The room was large, air-conditioned and fully equipped including a mosquito net (which considering the rural environs, is a great bonus). Wonderful outdoor restaurant, pretty yard, attentive staff, family owned and operated, and just super nice folks that actually sent me away with a pealed pomelo as I got on my motorbike in the morning. No complaints, highly recommend.

LithuaniaQuite firm beds, I guess that depends on preference but for me it was not comfortable to sleep. Also lack of cleaning-especially in the bathroom area.
Very friendly staff, good food in the property-you dont need to go out to eat anywhere. Close to the river/park. Nice garden with fresh fruit.

BelgiumWe stayed in the Deluxe 1 bedroom bungalow and the room was squeaky clean but the moldy smell was a bit off putting. I would suggest to do something about it though i understand that the humid climate can be a challenge.
Tien is an exceptional host and the location of her property is fantastic to explore the Cat Tien National Park. I highly recommend it.

IsraelSome things we didn't like: the shower and toilet are not really clean, there are ants in the sink and the soap we received was tiny and not clean. There was no hot water available, we had to wait about 10 minutes until water came to the water and then the other person had no hot water. Another thing is the bedding for the bed, a basic thing is to put a pillow for the blanket, this is basic hygiene
tien's place is stunning! The location is excellent! The food is really delicious and tien and her family are so lovely! Her place is so close to being really great! . Besides, it's really close to the park and her brother also gave us a stunning cruise! So very satisfied and hope the place will improve

New ZealandTien was so helpful with booking tours and then when we were leaving booking a bus for us and organising a taxi to help us get to the bus. Tien even made a birthday cake for my son. Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were super clean. This place is a really nice place to stay as the owner works here and is extremely helpful. Great English.

Thuy's Ecolodge is a gem! The location is unbeatable, just a 3-minute walk to the river crossing that leads directly to Cat Tien National Park. Our room was impeccably clean, with super comfortable beds, air conditioning. The bungalows are tucked away in Thuy's tranquil garden, offering a peaceful and relaxing retreat. We stayed for two days and ate exclusively from her kitchen—it was absolutely delicious! Having lived in Vietnam for 10 years as expats, we can say this is the place to stay when visiting Cat Tien National Park. Thuy also organized our transportation from Ho Chi Minh City and to Mui Ne. She also arranged our boat trip on the Dong Nai River. Everything was seamless and perfect. We highly recommend Thuy's Ecolodge for an unforgettable experience!

PolandThe ecolodge is a very peaceful place, with comfortable accommodation, good food and a lovely garden. The host Tien is the most kind and efficient person we have met in Vietnam, she speaks very good English and she will sort out everything for you in 5 minutes (transport to get to the Lodge, tours in the National Park, additional attractions). We had a great stay!

PeruQuiet and secluded location, in a family run homestay. Food prepared and cooked on site Very close to Cat Tien National Park. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helped us book tours and transport. The room was clean and comfortable with warm showers after a long day trekking in the jungle. We had heard that some of the hotels in Cat Tien were loud with people singing karaoke, but this thankfully is not one of them!
