It was such good value for money. Had everything you wanted - a pool, a tv in the room and the hotel offered bike hire. Only a short walk to restaurants

This is a beautiful place in nature. If you are seeking quiet tranquility, this is the perfect spot for you! While it is a 25-minute walk or a 7-minute drive to the beach, bicycles are available at the resort for your convenience. The staff is outstanding, hardworking, and very helpful with anything you may need. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view of the garden.

Lovely bungalows in the jungle, a nice a relaxing place. Good location with shops and restaurants nearby. Sadly it rained during our stay so we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked good. Nice outdoor area with a table and chairs. The a/c worked great. Ourdoor en-suite bathroom was a nice touch. Just remember you’re in the jungle, there will be lizards, spiders and bugs around.

The restaurant was closed, probably because we visited in the day immediately after Tet. Other than that everything was perfect!

Wonderful place off the beaten path in Phu Quoc. It truly is a garden - lots of trees, plants and animals living around without being too landscaped or gentrified. The staff is lovely, we rented a motorbike form them and they organised a private transfer to the airport for an early flight. Couldn't be happier!

The floor in the shower wasn't straight, and as a result, water accumulated for 6 days. In the end, it smelled very strong, so we had to shower at the pool

It is a bit far from the city centre bit we were aware of that. With the scooter it only takes 10mins. The best thing was that its really quite at night, i slept really good every night

The property didn’t really look like the pictures, it was a bit more run down, and I got shocked pretty badly by an exposed wire in our room, but for the price it was pretty fair

The place was good value for money, there was a nice like street with restaurants and small shops near by and a very quiet beach near by. The staff were helpful and the cleaning staff did a great job when doing the rooms.

The only problem was that I had to beg to get my room cleaned and I think I had it done two or three times in the 18days I stayed there, although I changed rooms once. Poor Ten is doing her best but with 22 rooms and laundry it is just too much for her. She needs help! It is really a 3 person job. I think they are trying to hire someone else so hopefully this will improve. I was not the only one who was seen carrying a rag, bottle of cleaner and a broom to my room.

Loved this place!! Came for 6 days and stayed for 18. I didn’t want to leave! The grounds are beautiful, the little bungalows are super comfy (I liked my stone cottage the best) it was private and peaceful and I was treated like family, invited to a big Christmas Eve dinner the owner put on for us all and Minh at the front desk made me dinner one night! It’s a reasonable walk to the small Ong Lang beach but they also have bikes available to use for free (although some guests liked to think they were for their sole use and kept them up on their decks which I thought was rather selfish) or you can rent a scooter for 7 US per day. The pool is lovely and oxygenated instead of chlorinated and they were kept busy putting out new chaise loungers to meet the incoming need. It is excellent value for the money, everything else was much more expensive, even at a lower quality. But the very best thing about Pomelo is Minh (front desk manager) and Binh (night reception) who are THE BEST!! Binh told me when I arrived (tired and grumpy in the middle of a total blackout storm) that he knew we were going to be great friends and he was so right!! :)

Bathroom hadn't been cleaned & do not use communal toilet facilities. A little tired here & there but absolutely worth overlooking for overall great place & location.

I really liked the staff. They are amazing. Everybody keeps asking to extend which is complicated for them to deal with at times. I was supposed to stay one week and ended up staying 3 weeks. It is so peaceful.

Photos are from a good few years ago as others have said, but still ideal for a good few nights of country side peace and quiet at a very sensible price

Fabulous owners who cant do enough for you invluding a lovely fresh breakfast of your choice, property is old and rustic but has its own charm, rooms are lovely inside and great pool, location is very quiet but only 10 minutes walk to the small town area for a good choice of restaurants, we had a really good 5 nights of relaxation.

The owners are lovely people and from when I arrived to when I left they would be great and make my stay fantastic, I stayed longer than expected and kept extending I also tried both the stone and wood type buildings with both being nice and amongst the wonderful nature very peaceful nights sleep Wi-Fi is good and steady and the pool is well maintained although I didn’t get to use it during this stay the motorbike hire is good also would recommend especially if you want that amongst the nature feeling

Le, the Manager and all the staff were friendly and helpful, sorted everything for us, tours, bikes, whatever we needed but otherwise we were left in peace. Room was cleaned everyday. Free drinking water, nice pool, good wifi, netflix. Set in jungle orchard of mangoes, coconuts, pomelos with amazing birdlife and local wildlife noises. Very chilled place. Really good food at Ninila's two doors down (mango smoothie best in town). Ong Lang beach is a nice 15-20 min walk, dont do it at midday in the sun, but doable, supermarket 10 minutes. Highly recommend a bike or scooter.

If you come to Phu Quoc you must stay here!.. we booked 2 nights and stayed 4! Suri and her husband are so friendly and helpful!..They even took us to a local beach on their bikes when we got lost! The bungalow was great with a beautiful outside bathroom. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. There is no restaurant at Pomelo but their friendly neighbour "Ninila " does great food and an amazing breakfast. As with most places on the island (unless you're on Long Beach/busy Duong Dong ) you will need a bike to get around..(you can rent from Pomelo) The beach of Ong Lang is beautiful and quiet...a bit hard to find but definitely worth it! Pomelo doesn't have many reviews because Suri and her husband have only recently taken it over. .. hopefully they will get lots of great reviews which they deserve!
