Spa service found it difficult to communicate us a translator app. But the massage was good. The location is out of the city, but it is easy to access a grab, and the property offers a shuttle service a few times a day.. Mosquitos are bad, so make sure to bring repellent.

Loved my villa. And breakfast is always amazing, Hung and his staff will go out of their way to please your taste buds. All staff are trained in high customer service.

The property is a little remote with not much to do in the area, but makes a lovely relaxing stay

Lovely hotel in picturesque setting, although about 20 mins taxi drive from centre. We liked the breakfast room overlooking the lake and enjoyed a scrumptious meal in the restaurant one night when we had heavy rain and didn’t fancy going in town. The room was lovely, well equipped and had a super powerful shower. We loved the Vietnamese evening stories which arrived each night to our room - a lovely thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed the yoga in the morning.

The only thing we didn't like at teh Pilgrimmage was leaving!

Every part of staying at the Pilgrimmage surpassed any expectations we had - the staff, food, pool, accomoodation and grounds were all surperior to any other accommodation that we have stayed at. And I had the best massage from An that I have ever had. Our stay was amazing!

This was the best stay during our 3 weeks family holiday in Vietnam. This hotel was the highligh of our trip with 15 months old baby. We liked here so much, that we even prolonged our stay. First of all, we were welcomed with an upgraded room as we were traveling with a baby - that was a wonderful surprise. Second of all, the people who are working in the hotel are magnificent, highly professional and supportive. Huge respect for the employees as we could have relaxed and they took care of all our needs. The hotel itself is very beautiful, super clean, amazing breakfast, wonderful swimming pool, kids area and many more. This is a place where we would love to come back and stay for much more longer! The staff at this hotel couldn't do more, and everything was done with a big smile. Thanh (customer relations manager) was keen to make sure we had a comfortable stay. An oasis of calm ftom the hustle and bustle of Hue. Lovely breakfast and a la carte food in the hotel restaurant. All round great.

Everything was so fabulous! Really the most wonderful place to stay. We have had three days of delightful luxury when staying for my 60th birthday treat - it did not disappoint. The pool surrounded by palm trees and shaded loungers with a swim up bar is just stunning. The bedrooms are also amazing with enormous bathrooms, and everything just works perfectly. The breakfasts are the most amazing feasts. Huge selection of local and international food and drink, all beautifully prepared and presented.

This was an exceptional experience! Heaven on earth, with all that you can imagine - the tranquil setting, beautiful on the outside (the resort) and on the inside (rooms, spa/wellness, yoga studio etc). The staff were exceptional and went over and above to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food, starting with the choicest breakfast, and moving on to lunch and dinner, was a culinary delight. We spent 2 days and 2 nights in luxury, which felt like the right amount of time for us. Would definitely come back in the future!

We really enjoyed the varied and tasty breakfast, along with the attentive service. Claudia took great care of us and made us feel truly looked after. The rooms were spacious—though one of them did have a bit of a humidity smell. The pool was large and inviting, and we also treated ourselves to the spa, which was lovely. The city itself was easy to reach, either by Grab or via the hotel’s shuttle. In Hue, we enjoyed visiting the Imperial City (we opted for a buggy inside due to the heat and humidity) and the Royal Tombs—though in hindsight, one tomb would have been enough. The Perfume River, however, was very dirty, and the dragon boat ride wasn’t worth it for us—we wouldn’t do it again. One thing we really noticed is how much Vietnam has changed; wherever you go, it seems you’re a target for scams. In Hue, we experienced it even more often than in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City
