We found a bit difficult to find the place. However, In terms of location near the main attractions is excellent.

The place is very clean, quite, comfortable and offers all comforts. It is right in the centre of the historical part of Hanoi and is very affordable. The host is super-friendly and accommodating. They offered clear instructions to find the place and were very helpful and quick to respond to all questions. I would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Hanoi! Thank you so much!

The extra bed was very hard, even by Vietnamese standards.

The owner provided very detailed information on how to find the apartment but still it was a bit tricky and challenging Let's say that if you are not very familiar with the narrow streets of Hanoi Old Quarters, the apt is not very easy to spot. Still, we do reccommend Rik Homestay :)

Apartment located in the Old Quarter, therefore very central to everything but still very quiet. The apartment it has is own charm and you can notice the artistic touch of the owners. The room is big and cosy, and there is a common kitchen !

We arrived late at night after a sleeper bus and the directions we were given couldn’t have been better, it is self check in as well which made it all the more easier. The room itself is so clean and comfortable and a great environment to come home to. It is within walking distance of many shops too which was very convenient!

I had a wonderful 2-day stay here! The host was very kind and friendly, always ready to help. Everything was great – clean, comfortable, and cozy. The road leading to the accommodation is a bit winding, but it's totally worth it for the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and affordable place to stay!

The only minus is that the room does barely have any natural light because the window faces a very small inner courtyard. But that is really the only point.

Very cozy and beautiful house hidden in the alleys. I love the decoration, it feels very special and unique. Very very clean, good quality furniture and bed. I am very happy we could use the common kitchen facilities and that filtered water was provided. Rik was very helpful and friendly. Very silent and away from traffic noise, although around 8/9am I heard some roosters. But compared to other accommodations in Hanoi, this is an oasis of calmness.

Nothing only small small thing is that it's hard to find in the start but once you know it's not a problem at all :)

Rik was the nicest, most accommodating host you could wish for. He sent up many recommendations that were great and really did his best to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The rooms stayed cool even when we left the AC off all day. The location is perfect in the old quarter. The room is also very big and cute little kitchen downstairs and area to chill in.

The location of this accommodation was perfect! Really close to the old quarter, train, lake etc! And very quiet indeed! Rooms were so cute, cozy and really good size! Rik communicated with us well, instructions to enter and how to use facilities were very clear. Definitely would stay here again!

Property is a little bit hard to find as it was inside the alley but RIK IS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. He sent me a message about the location to make it easy to find.

We booked the entire home for our stay, you can cook and use the utensils he have and he is giving a free noodles, it also has filtered water you can take. If you need to cook there is also some things you need and its free. There is hot water for shower, bidet is also available. If you have menstruation, pads are also available. There’s also blower and towels. Pretty much complete. Rik is very accommodating and welcoming.

Absolutely everything! The location: perfect, in a quiet side alley but still close to everything. The room & bed: spacious and comfortable. Bathroom: spotlessly clean, with excellent water pressure. Check-in and check-out: very easy, coordinated via WhatsApp. Value for money: simply excellent! And last but not least, our host, Rik was very helpful and approachable – it was clear that he was passionate about making his guests' stay as enjoyable as possible.
