Really nice family who were very helpful and attentive. They did laundry (40k/kg) and we could rent scooter and even filled up the tank for us (150k/day).We arrived at 4 am and left at 7 am - they made us breakfast early. They even gave us wafers and water for the trip back. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Ninh Binh! The location is perfect—peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to restaurants, shops, and coffee spots. The hotel itself is spotless and well-maintained, and the free bike rentals made exploring the area even better. But the real highlight was the owners and staff. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best experience. Saying goodbye to them was actually so sad for us lol! If you’re visiting Ninh Binh, I can’t recommend this place enough.

The bungalow was beautiful and so comfortable! We used the free bikes everyday of our stay and they were so handy. The breakfast every morning was so yummy and filling! The family were so friendly and helpful and communicated well through Google translate. Highly recommend staying here:)

The family running this place are so kind. Big comfortable beds, large bathrooms, delightful evening setting amongst the little bungalow rooms. It is equidistant from both river boats tour starting points too. Nice pool as well and good complimentary breakfast. Great place.

I had the most wonderful experience at this beautiful homestay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the sweetest hosts who truly made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable, I slept like a dream. The traditional breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious and added such a special touch to our stay. At night, the property lights up, creating a magical, dreamy atmosphere that makes you never want to leave. The hosts were so kind and made us feel at home throughout our time there. There’s also bicycle and motorbike rentals available, and plenty of places nearby to eat and explore. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer. A little noise of the country (chickens) but got used to it right away.

After 2 weeks all around Vietnam the Royal was where we finally relaxed. The staff was excellent and always had a genuine smile and accommodated us without question. We showed up to check in and I had botched the dates, our host didn’t skip a beat and got us situated.

I can't say anything negative. It was perfect.

Off the main road in a small hamlet, it's an oasis of peace. My bungalow was really nice and spotless,with a roomy bathroom. Best shower I've had in Vietnam so far (2 weeks in). The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. And all that for a really good price.

There are quite a few roosters that might annoy you in the morning but I was ok with earplugs.

We loved our stay, probably the best in our 1 month trip around Vietnam! The location, away from the more beaten paths of Ninth Binh and Tam Coc was perfect to arrange a few days visiting the surrounding areas. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful even when I unfortunately got some flu and had to spend a few days just resting. They provided a scooter in good condition as well as free bikes if we so wanted. The pho that we had for breakfast literally every day was amazing! So tasty! The whole place is beautifuly manteined with lots of plants, flowers, trees and festival lights in the evening, very very magical and pretty.

Just some extra shelves or small wardrobe would be helpful. But anyway it was manageable even we had big luggages.

Staff is super friendly, helpful and attentive. Good calm location, beautiful area with nice pool. To reach main tourist attractions easy by bicykel (for free the stay) or by scooter. No problem to order Grab to further destinations. Highly recommended. Comfortable big double bed, spacious bathroom. Good working AC and WiFi even for those who works remotely.

Definitely the best place we staid in. The owner was very friendly and offered a home away from home. The entire place is made with love and the rooms were spacious and clean in a very relaxing atmosphere. It's a good location to explore the different caves and you can use bycicles or even rent scooters from the location. It's not a luxury hotel, but you will feel very well taken care off and there is everything you need. Will come back the next time I'm in Vietnam.

If you are staying at Ninh Bingh only for a day then I would recommend to stay somewhat closer to the main attractions. This would be a great stay if you had some more time to explore Ninh Binh at a relaxed pace.

Nice little homestay, away from the noise at Ninh Binh. The rooms / cottages are beautiful. Decent breakfast, They also provide scooter rentals. Not so far from Hang Mua. Situated by the river / canal and amidst a farm. Hosts are nice and hospitable.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The property is really pretty, your room is your own bungalow with a huge bathroom. The whole room is super clean and smells really fresh too. The hosts are so wonderful, friendly and chatty (through Google translate) and they cook breakfast to order every morning. Which was delicious and they were happy to accommodate us as vegetarians too. Trang an is quiet compared Tam coc and has quite a rural village feel, which we really liked. It's located right around the corner from lying dragon mountain and only about a 10 minute cycle to the boat ride at Trang an. On the day we checked out my friend forgot her purse and they even arranged for it to be delivered to our next hotel in a different area for us that same evening! They were so kind and helpful.

The staff were amazing, they made sure we were looked after and went outside of washing hours to get our clothes cleaned for us to leave early in the morning. They also made us breakfast early. I could not recommend this enough. The room is more than you could ask for and very clean. We walked back from the dragon mountain and was very close to food places.

This was by far the best place we stayed in entire Vietnam. The family who runs the homestay are amazing and very caring. Everything was cleaned, room was spacious and the garden and lights outside give a nice vibe to the place. I 100% recommend this homestay to anyone going to Ninh Binh.

The staff and owner was so kind and helpful. We had received the free bycycle on rent and raincoat also. They have a bike on chargeable basis. You get petrol pump near by homestay or you can fill it by owner itself. Room were so spacious and clean. We were there for three nights. Mua caves, tam coc near to the homestay. You can spend good time surrounded by nature. Overall stay was very nice. We highly recommend this homestay where you really feel like a home. Thank you for your hospitality. One suggestion to the tourist, use translator for communication.

Quiet and tranquil location. Water buffaloes and goats wander down the road and waterways. Sun, the hostess did a wonderful job with cooking breakfast and making sure all of our needs were met.Pool was clean and inviting.

Nice bungalows...the beds are big....new and clean.... beautiful surroundings with the lotus Fields in front...pool was decent...simple breakfast...staff are really nice n helpful...lend us cycles for free.
