There was no bedding except a sheet so we had to borrow more form spare beds of other guests no one was around to help with anything as the receptionist was leaving. Hard beds. Some guests had mosquito nets over their beds, others none. The place had all the charm of an abandoned hospital. unsmiling and very reluctant breakfast waitress and fairly rubbish omelette. One guest suffered bed bug bites.

The location right next to the Citadel, and there is a pool albeit a bit warm and too much chlorine. the place was a least clean.

There's not much to do in the direct neighborhood of the hotel, so it would be better if the hotel bar had more to offer in terms of drinks. The swimming pool could have had more sunbeds (there were only 5 at the time we were there, and they were always occupied)

The swimming pool is so welcome after a hot day in the Hue citadel (which is very close!) Also, the breakfast buffet is quite nice and extensive. The hotel rooms are modest but clean.

They have a bird in a cage up in one of there trees. It seemed healthy and well cared for, I just thought it was a bit unnecessary.

Very nice hotel and a very good location. A bit of a walk to the road with shopping and places to eat and have a beer or coffee, but it's a nice and safe walk even late at night. They also have a nice restaurant and bar on site. The pool was a nice relief from the hot afternoons. The hotel and the grounds were well maintained and the staff that I talked with were very friendly and accommodating.

Room was dirty and damp. Sheets, towels and covers had not been changed. Staff provided some new sheets and towels but not particularly helpful. The language barrier was a problem. It would have been better to stay on the south of the river where this is a good choice of eating places and access to transport options. Our bus to Hoi An would have picked up from a hotel on the south side but not the north. Pool was also dirty.

Close to the Citadel so good for the tourist sites but not ideal for eating out at night as very dark and long walk to eating places. Hotel provided a good breakfast and organised a taxi to take us across the river to catch the bus to Hoi An.

There was a smell of dampness in our rooms, which also explains why there were moths flying in the room. When we arrived for breakfast at 8:30am there was hardly any food left and no one was restocking despite breakfast being open till 10. The pillows were too hard and uncomfortable and no deposit safety box in the room, only deposit in reception, bathroom could use a refurbish.

the first room we were supposed to stay was cold, the walls had traces of humidity. the airco didn't work, it was cold and humid and the smell was not so nice. we could change room, and get an electric warmer. the wifi didn't work, and the receptionist told us she would fix it for us, but she didn't. the night keeper did it for us. Next morning : no breakfast buffet, as seen on the pictures on the website of booking.com. 'normally yes, but not today', and I asked tomorrow then ? no, not tomorrow. there were only 6 guests in the hotel. we had bread with jam, coffee and a fruit juice. immediately after breakfast we were both sick ! the next night there was a 'party' in the lobby of the hotel with the staff, lots and lots of noise, drunken men and women yelling and running through the hotel...

It is an old hotel. The doors and windows in our rooms could not be locked properly. Walls are thin and the staff were very loud very early in the morning. There is a cafe/restaurant in the hotel, but the staff does not speak english at all (though only based on a three days visit). Everyone can access the hotel through the cafe/restaurant 24-7.

It's an old hotel, so even though it was clean, there are a few cockroaches running around! We don't really mind them but a warning for those who do. If you want to go out, then I'd suggest somewhere away from the citadel, it's pretty quiet there after dark. We had an early start and only stayed for one night so that was perfect for us.

Right next to the citadel so great if you want to do the tourist sites. The hotel will organise a car for you if you'd like to go to the main Hue tourist spots. We also did a tour of the DMZ from Hue, although this wasn't organised through the hotel
