Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBooked here last minute due to other hotel issues. So we had a family room for 2 people, the room itself was spacious and the beds were comfy and had hot water. We stayed for 3 nights. No one came to clean the room, had to ask for fresh towels and when I did got laughed at. Definitely over priced for what it is and maybe if the staff were abit nicer and more approachable I would have rated it abit higher.

VietnamNothing. Everything was ok.
I like the views from the hotel. The staff were nice and kind always. Because not all guests are from Asia, it would be nice to offer toast, butter and some english breakfast when you have foreign guests.

IcelandAbsolutely — if you're looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature and stunning views, this is the perfect choice. The rooms are small but cozy, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with everything you need. Clean, comfortable, and ideal for a relaxing stay. The surroundings are what truly make this place special: fresh mountain air, wide open views, and tranquil mornings where you can watch the clouds roll over the hills — it’s a truly calming experience. If you’re in search of a spot to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature, this is definitely a place worth staying at.

VietnamThe rooms could use with floating shelves to help with space.
The location of the property is beautiful and tranquil and it’s architecture is really interesting (it’s shaped as a camera). The rooms are small but cozy.

United KingdomThe staff could do much better. We turned up for breakfast on the first morning of our stay (having slept there one night) only to be told that the first breakfast wasn't free (?) and that we would need to pay for it. We declined and went to eat elsewhere. We did have breakfast once and it was edible. On the last evening, at about 22:00 - we had a knock on our door to insist that we must pay there and then, it was all very strange. I asked if we could pay by card - to which the lady replied yes, and so then we had to walk up to reception - once at reception she then said the card machine hadn't worked all day, and still wasn't working. It was very odd, and quite annoying. As I walked out she and her colleage said a few words and had a good giggle. Dissapointing hotel, I think whoever manages the hotel should perhaps think about changing how the staff deal with people and what would be considered rude behaviour should be stopped. I wouldn't stay here again, it wasn't even cheap enough to make up for the poor service.
Location was good, it's up on a hill but so is most of Sa Pa. It's a quiet location with very little noise from the town to be heard. Nice views over the town and valley when the visibility is good. Good guiding company very nearby that we stopped by to chat to (Sapa Original Trek).

LatviaBreakfast was very poor. Hidity in the rooms is important point to consider when willing to book - we got some rain during our stay so all the belongings got 'moist'. If you are looking for overpriced camping experienced - this is it. Two types of staff in reception - nice but doesn't speak English OR far from nice and welcoming but speaks English. When leaving we asked them to book a taxi. They got us a car that took us to the city sentrum (5 min drive) and asked for 100.000vnd when we were getting off. Regular taxi costs around 30.000vnd for the same route. I experience this as a skam from reception side.
It is colorful and fun design in the area. As it is located high up the hill, it is a beautiful view over the city.

SingaporeThe hotel, rooms and view itself are amazing. However, the facilities were not up to mark. The pool wasn't clean, in fact a greenish on the bottom. The breakfast was very average. I've stayed in cheaper hotels during the trip and the breakfast buffets were amazing. When asked at reception, the staff said could have dinner at their restaurant. However when I went up, the staff there initially said only serve drinks. Upon asking again l, she said they had food too and gv me the menu. Alot of rhe items were not available. After bringing me part of my meal she tells me they don't have the other items ordered, including drinks. Was a waste of money. The location is quite high up on the slope. So if you are thinking of walking to and fro town, it's doable but beware of the extremely steep climbs all the way up. The room is to an angle, so water collects at one corner in the bathroom . There was also a function going on in the open area , part of the hotel , and they blasted karaoke n music till late night. It was all in a tedious night trying to sleep.
Reception staff was friendly and polite. Allowed early check in.
