Having breakfast on the verandah was lovely. I enjoyed a different choice every day. Each was really delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The indoor and outdoor seating areas were a good place to meet others and to relax. Hosts and staff all ensured our visit went well. Thanks for a terrific holiday experience.

The bathroom drain smelt a little on arrival but ok after a couple of showers

Breakfast was outstanding, just a shame I was in a rush most days so couldn't eat/enjoy as much as I'd have liked to! Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming, special shout out to a new lady who checked me in and was super nice when I was a little upset. Rooms were super clean and had everything you could want. Can recommend Manna epicure restaurant which is close by.

There was absolutely nothing that one could not like about the Parker Cottage Guesthouse.

I liked EVERYTHING about the property! The beautiful house, the lovely room, the welcoming staff, the gorgeous gardens. It was truly faultless.

The entire team are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The cottage has a lovely relaxed and comfortable feel. The honesty bar is such a lovely little touch. Felt completely taken care of. Breakfast was fabulous. I'm vegan and they were so accommodating. Pamela and the team also helped me by arranging a balloon and MCC for my friends birthday.

However, the breakfast service is way too slow. When I was there alone one day, it took them 30 min to prepare eggs. Besides, what frustrated me - housekeeper mixed our used bathrobes and towels, not replacing them with new ones. Hence we couldn't use them afterwards. Also, housekeeper thrown away my packaging material, which I was going to use upon checking out for my luggage. This should never happen that personal belongings are thrown away!!! The bed is also a bit short

Great location, really friendly and helpful staff. Lots of places to eat nearby and easy to get in and out of the city, would highly recommend. Also loved that there was a focus on water recycling with using 'grey' shower water plants and keep the garden.

Basically nothing. I only including the following because everything else was perfect in room 9. Just a personal preference, but… - I would include slightly thinner pillows. - I would replace the bedside-lamps bulbs with a warm white rather than cool. For me it’s a little more hygge/gemütlich.

Parkers cottage is a Boutique Guest House is every sense of the word. This accommodation is a gem, in the Tamboerskloof area in Cape town and within walking distance of it's lovely shops, cafes, Restaurants and historic areas. With beautiful maintained grounds and lovely rooms and very friendly welcoming staff. We loved the stunning architecture and elegance with modern facilities and ultimate comfort and also the homey feeling. The food, presentation and service is just excellent. We are so thankful to the team for the memorable stays we’ve had on this trip to Cape Town. A truly wonderful experience, thank you all 😁😁We hope to get back for a second visit in the near future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Parker Cottage. We stayed at the beginning and end of our holiday in South Africa. The accommodation, breakfast and honesty bar were excellent as was the great customer support we had both before and during our stay, for example booking a tour, tickets for the cable car to Table Mountain and cricket tickets.
