We had a problem with the toilet. Something wrong with the septic tank. We could smell it when we arrived.. The restaurant was very quiet and the staff in the kitchen were very noisy.

We loved the very different and quirky little dung beetle cottages. Such fun.

The shower was a bit cramped and the door did not stop a majority of the water from splashing out of the shower.

We loved the location and the views were outstanding. The included breakfasts were lovely.

When I booked, I asked for dinner to be added and I thought it had when I received the invoice. I did think it a bit pricey to pay R1400 for bed and breakfast in such a tiny place, but otherwise, it was lovely.

Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Prompt serving, lovely view and great service. Dinner was also a decent portion and very tasty. Some quiet background music would be lovely.

I would have liked breakfast and dinner to be served for a little longer so that we didn't have to get up so early. Our massage was booked from 9-10, so we had to have breakfast first, which didn't give much time to relax. Also when checking in, dinner was served from 7-8, so we didn't have much time to settle in before we had to go for dinner. Just a little flexibility in times would be great.

My husband is 6ft 4, so I was worried that the ceiling might be too low - it was spacious enough, which was great. The shower was a little tight though. Location was great, view was lovely and the food was excellent. It would have been a nice touch to add some soft music during dinner and breakfast. We tried the Spa as well, which was nice, although the lady is not professional, it was very relaxing.

One night we had a bat in our room.

The staff was really friendly. We enjoyed the camping experience with the outside shower and bathroom. Something totally different! The views were amazing and the Guest Farm is located very close to the Addo Elephant Park.

Although not really under the guest farm's control, the access road is gravel and in quite poor condition. Being a light sleeper, having generators going all night and farm vehicles working all night meant I did not have such a great night's rest, but my partner was unaffected.

Best way to describe the bush camps are "quirky" - romantic if you enjoy being in the bush and don't mind an outside toilet and shower under the stars! The facilities are part of a very large working citrus farm, so there is continuous 24x7 activity, which distracts slightly from the overall experience, but the views are lovely, the staff great and both the dinner (traditional South African fare - bobotie) and the breakfast were great. We used the facility as a base for exploring the Addo Elephant Park, situated just down the road.

Just be aware that there is another property almost identically named 1 hour away which our GPS picked up on. So we did a 2 hour round trip that was unnecessary

Beautiful lodge set deep in the orange farms. Truly beautiful spot with very kind and friendly staff members

The bats...kids had to come sleep in our chalet as there was a bat flying around in their room. We could also hear them the entire night crawling around in the roof. They have had exterminators in and they will be called in again. They are working on the problem. Also I would suggest filling the dam by lapa area and add some koi. Will be great for guests to sit and watch. Relaxing. And a protable braai for chalets to use if it is too expensive to build a braai at each chalet But over all an amazing setting and experience

Breakfast was lovely. Service great. Everyone so friendly and helpful. I want to go back soon for atleast 3 nights.

We had a bush cabin which is located in a very dense bush and reached by small paths. Each cabin has its own outdoor toilet and shower and is located separate of the other ones. By that we enjoyed the discretion and the quietness. Also the breakfast and the dinner was very good and the Addo elephant park is nearby. In total we had a pleasant stay with lovely outdoor experiences.
