Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The bed and the pillows were excellent. We had all we needed. Francelle was a very good and friendly host and the breakfast was delicious.

South AfricaThe only thing I can think of to improve the stay, especially for folks with children, is a small jungle gym or something to keep the kids occupied.
Even though we arrived late in the evening, Linda still had a big smile on her face and treated us with a welcoming kindness; and ensured our comfort before we all retired for the evening. Throughout our two-night stay, Linda was very accommodating with our schedule; and blessed us with beautiful breakfasts. The rooms were very comfortable, and we had a great view over the lake. All round, we were happy and will be returning should we be in the area again. Highly recommended.

I liked the welcoming as I entered Amber Guest Lodge Linda who is the owner makes you feel at home.Our room was very spacious neat and clean.The bed was very comfortable and warm.Breakfast was sooo delicious,warm,fresh and a lot of variety. The place was great. Our room was an Executive with its own TV/Sitting room and lots and lots of space . It was overlooking the lake and atmosphere was excellent. The host was great and did extra for us on my wife's birthday. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed every moment of our stay there. The host every morning will alert us of the loadshedding schedules and provide advice on how best we can spend the day
