The pool is unclean and very tiny. Apparently there was an incident between the people who were staying there after I left.

room is spacious, property is safe. great location. Staff hate their jobs and do not know anything about the sites/places to recommend to people.

The pool is not working. The breakfast starts super late, from 8 to 10 and it’s always the same thing.

The lady at reception showed me the wrong bed, and at 01.30 in the morning, I was woken by the person who was supposed to be on the bed I occupied. When I checked the paper I got from reception, it showed that I was supposed to be in Bed Number 6. Then I checked Bed 6, and it was occupied by another person. I then went to the reception desk, and no one was there to help resolve this matter. this was the most frustrating moment. Imagine being woken up that early and now wondering which bed to move to. Luckily a bed above was clear or open with no one, so I moved myself to it. My little prayer was that there would be no other person coming to move me again. I immediately messaged the backpacker via Booking.com and to date, no one dared to respond or at least cared about what happened to me. In the morning around 10 am, I went to the reception and was told that the reception lady had made a mistake showing me the wrong bed. Everything was great, and only that ruined my experience. Please ensure that your staff do the correct thing. I also hatted the approach taken by the guest who moved me from the allocated bed, it was just a bed, those who stayed with me in that dormitory on the 12th of Feb 2014 (my first night) would attest to this, it was bad

The place is conveniently located, a well-secured place, the beds are comfortable, clean bathrooms and toilets. There is a working area where you can do your work and even socialise with other guests. It's a great spot to meet friends and make connections. The check-in process was swift, Wi-Fi was very good, I would recommend this place again and again. There was only one issue which is addressed below under what I didn't like.

The safe beeping at night without control. Bad organization with the laundry service, my clothes were lost for a couple of days. Fortunately I found them after contacting the laundry lady (external to the hostel but with an agreement with them).

Good location to walk to the Waterfront in 10 min. Big spaces, double rooms in a separate quieter building with own kitchen. Limited parking on site.

There is no proper place to work at the hostel, so I was stuck working on the patio under the sun on a picnic table + bench.

I liked that my dorm was clean and well maintained. The bed was also comfortable. Location is amazing as there are loads of restaurants and shops nearby.

Awkward experience at night. Common rooms for both male and female. Could not sleep well at night due to the noise made by two travelers who were sharing same bed and doing unpleasant things.

We slept the first night in the "Forest Dorm", there was a terrible smell of feet, even windown open it was still smelling. We had to change the room free of charge. I believe having this "fake" grass carpet is not a good idea it keeps bad smell. It was also smelling by the reception. We also were not lucky since somebedy was snoring terribly the whole night. The staff for breakfast is very strict and not super friendly, especially one of them. Breakfast is very simple and repetitive every day. The pool was dirty during our stay. No back-up during load shedding.

The dormitory upstar was very clean and cozy, even equipped with AC. Beds were very comfortable, it seems that maitress were new. We had a private shower and toilet for our dorm, while dorm downstair is one bathroom for 3 dormitories. It was quiet and relaxing at night. Outdoor area is pleasant to have shared time. Area very safe.

The entire first day I was there, the wifi was not working. It came back on in the evening but not helpful when you are brand new and don’t have a SA SIM card yet. The staff were really quiet/ not overly helpful :( I only was there for 3 days and only interacted with 2 of them, but both interactions did not solve my problem. I requested a bottom bunk but was given a top. The pool leaves a lot to be desired

This was a very social hostel! Not like party social but I found everyone there was friendly and happy to talk about their day or your plans etc… as a solo traveller, I really enjoyed how easy it was to meet new people here. The dorm rooms were big with their own private bathrooms (for the dorm’s use). The kitchen seemed large and orderly although I did not use it. I felt very safe in this location. The airport shuttle was very reasonable and it was wonderful to wander out of the airport and have somebody who knew what was up there to take you to the hostel.

Hostel lacked “backpacker energy” and was low energy. Breakfast was served 8-10 which was a little bit later to most places.

Untidy Namibian girls made such a great place rather unpleasant, however the staff as a team of experts took care of it and there was nothing not to like thereafter..... The staff are just such an harmoniously synchronized team and Trust us, they will know exactly what to do for any unforseen eventuality.

Just an amazing place, unbelievable Travellers meeting point, every visit is unique and that's the point. The multi-Ethnicitist's meeting point. You could meet just about any national or international traveller here, Japanese, Jamaican, German, American, Canadian, Portuguese, Brazilian, South African, Namibian, Nicaraguain, Colombian, Ghanaian, The World is @ This point in time @ the Atlantic Point, not just any point or A point, The Atlantic Point and that's it.

Apart from admin the "staff" don't anything activities wise.. you just have to be lucky who's in your room or bump into at breakfast. They're definitely not doing any extra and there's so mamy of them!

Given the chance to sleep in a single bed and not bunk.. super comfortable! Rooms are on the top level & you can open the windows for more breeze. Good breakfast- cereal, egg, apple & toast. Great location
