Our only complaint was that there was no way to boil water for tea, to heat up food or to have a hot shower when the two hour electricity cut occurred on our first evening. It would have been good to have been warned in advance, and some alternative arrangement put in place.

We loved the accessibility to Stellenbosch and the property's beautiful, peaceful location. All the facilities were pretty much perfect except for the problem outlined below.

Sound proofing was not wonderful however it didn’t worry us to hear our neighbours as they were all quiet at a reasonable hour and inheritance mornings. I think the staff could have been mire interactive with us.

The room was certainly missing A/C in 37 degrees.

This was our first stay in SA, on day 2, we extended our trip by 3-days as we loved it so much. Rozendal is an absolute gem, the staff are so friendly, the facilities are amazing and the room was excellent. We were very sad to leave.

The rooms are a bit poorly sound proof. If you have an enthusiastic person on a call next door, you hear everything. For us, a tiny minor (but we knew in advance) is that they do not serve breakfast despite the facilities that they have in the main house. With breakfast it would have been 10+.

The cottages with the little kitchen and the terrace are perfect if you are looking for an easy accommodation without breakfast. Stunning: sunset with table mountain in the back.

As a couple, we had in both sides families with small children, that they were crying at the same time. I gave the feedback that for couples it would be good to put them apart from families as we couldn’t sleep properly for 3 nights.

We were visiting in a hot period and the room only had a fan instead of an airconditioning, which means there were quite some hot nights during our stay (as load shedding occured often before bed time). We also weren't able to have lunch in the farm as everything was already booked, but I guess that only shows how great the food is there. So be warned: make a reservation if you want to have lunch there.

It was a nice farm with excellent cottages for guests in the wine region. Most facilities are there, including a little kitchenette which allows for cooking own meals if you'd like to. There are some nice activities to do on the farm site, including a lovely hike around the terrain.

The property was amazing and exceeded our expectations, it has everything you need . There were llamas and horses on the farm to look at and also the pool is massive . The farm house is massive and the decor is exquisite!

That we could not stay longer.

We felt so comfortable as we stepped into the room, the rooms smelt lovely and were cool, so well decorated - very relaxing and everything was top quality. Rooms are big, well ventilated, has everything you need. We loved our little hikes around the property - especially when Hugo the dog joined us. I got so much inspiration from the vegetable and herb gardens. The views of the mountains are spectacular. The location is so perfect - feel like one is in the depths of the country and yet so close to the hub of town. The vinegar tasting was so interesting - definitely going to buy some of their vinegars, elevated our salads.
