We experienced a problem opening and closing the gate when we entered and again when we left did not work and we had to phone reception. The delay meant we were late for our next appointment. The evening meal was simple and great but hugely over priced. The shower had no place to put your toiletries and to put it on the basin floor is a no go.

My stay was extremely comfortable and Cynthia and her team couldn't have been more helpful. It's a beautiful tranquil spot along the river and the chalets are beautifully decorated and private. The staff even cleaned my dusty car and windows each morning, a lovely extra touch, also excellent wi-Fi which was a lovely bonus!

The staff was amazing. They really went above our expectations to accommodate my mother who is meat and gluten-free !! While it is a bit isolated from the town, the lodge is in a really nice environment. On the premises, you can spot giraffes, zebras, etc. Our room was beautiful and you can choose to relax by one of the two swimming pools ! Great choice. I would highly recommend !

It's in nature so spiders are a little hard to avoid, because they are constantly building webs. . You may walk into a web or two. It's really unavoidable.

Staff as really friendly The facility was clean and beautifully set up. The river view is just spectacular. You really get to just lose your self in nature.

That the pin on Google showed the entrance to the place was next to the road. There were no real welcome message in the room or some sort of orientation. The outside light did not work and there were no dish cloths or scrubs to was the dishes. There were no details an where the shops are located. It would also be useful if there is insect repellent in the room.

We loved the fact that it was so relaxed, in th3 nature and well set up.

A special request was made at time of booking and they fulfilled it on arrival. Beautiful scenic garden with a clean pool and great lapa facilities. Wifi is accessible throughout the premises. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The drive off the main tarred road to the lodge, was incredibly long and didn't anticipate it was that far. Upon arriving at the lodge we went to reception and only welcomed by peackocks. I called for assistance as to where we need to go, with no answer on the phone. My husband found a form with my name and booking on the counter and we had to hunt for our house ourselves. Once settled and about to leave, did Cynthia call back and come check on us.

Our rondavel was incredible, more spacious than I anticipated. It was clean and cozy. The pool is inviting, the lapa is great for entertaining, and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous.
