Our stay at Bollard Bay House was wonderful. Our accomodation was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, spectacular view. We were made to feel like Royalty. Our host was friendly and helpful and we had delicious breakfasts. Thankyou , we will definately be back and can highly recommend it.

From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome. The views are magnificent, the host awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area and the various sites to visit. An overall 10 out of 10 from me. Definite place to visit. Leisure Isle, Knysna Heads.

Although our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the roof of the shower had a bit of mould on it - though I understand that it is easy to miss something like this.

The location and breakfast were excellent - the omelettes at breakfast were particularly good. Mike & staff were extremely friendly and accommodating!

The accommodation was amazing and we would highly recommend a stay at this place. Leisure island is a very calm and beautiful place. Everything in the house looked exactly like in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. We got upgraded and the sea view was stunning. The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of helpful recommendations for the area. The breakfast was very tasty. We would love to come back for a longer stay one day!

Everything closed by 6pm. So there’s nowhere to walk out to for something to eat. We found a lovely restaurant overlooking the headland, which was a great spot, but we had to drive back out and it closes at 10pm. Be prepared.

This guest house is a gem. The location, the room and the owner, Mike, is so welcoming and friendly. Situated on Leisure Isle overlooking the lagoon and opposite nature reserve - just gorgeous! The house has 3 small pools, a lovely reception & dining area and a well stocked honesty bar. The rooms are bright and modern with a small fridge and tea & coffee facilities. Freshly cooked breakfast with the added freshly baked lemon & poppy seed muffin was just delicious 😀

It would be helpful if the check-in process was clearer upon booking, we were not aware that we would need the host to great us on arrival, we felt awful for the inconvenience it caused as we arrived quite late.

The location was stunning and host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, we only stayed 1 night but would gladly return for a little longer.

Lovely room looking onto the pool and overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable beds. Warm welcome from our host who saw that we were comfortably settled even though he does not live on site. The next morning he was back to supervise our breakfast. We have stayed at this property before and would happily revisit again

What a find! Absolutely stunning spot on Leisure Isle, walking distance from the lagoon. Very comfy rooms and lovely, homely service and welcome from the Owner. The kind of place you almost wish will remain a best kept secret, just so you can ensure you will always find a room! Book it! You won't regret it!

Everything was perfect. Mike was extremely hospitable and ensured our stay was comfortable and went out of his way for us. The place and location was exactly like advertised. Staff was also very pleasant and always happy to assist. Will definitely be staying here again.
