Food excellent including catering for vegetarians. Several guided walks offered: bush walk, practical plants, spiders and scorpions....all very informative, a unique opportunity.

The staff are very kind and helpfull. The breakfasts were excellent, very tasty and diverse. The room is fully equipped with everything one can ask for and the best part is that there was wifi only in the main lodge ;)

Unfortunately no air condition in the yellowwood! We had 38 Degrees when we arrived outside. Inside it was much warmer. Fortunately we had a stror during the nigt and it cooled down. We learned that the owners plan to intall air condition!

Our cotttage was a nice little house, boutique style. Own pool. In the middle of nowhere in a small privat park. Phantasic quite and relaxed place. Dinners were very good. very friendly staff. Everything was uncomplicated.

Staff did not have much information about Mkuzi Park. Not a good location for Mkuzi Park access - my mistake. There is some road noise from R22 during the day. Rationed internet

Clean ,not crowded , friendly staff. Great food

Maybe a bit to isolated and small

Friendly staf and good lodge in nice surroundings. Not far away: Game Drive and hippotours. Exellent spiderwalk at the the lodge.

The 2-pit stove is a bit too small for comfortable cooking.

The best welcome we received in SA! After a long day of driving, the hosts at Bushwillow welcomed us at the lodge with a cool drink and a warm welcome. We planned a 3-night stay, but ended up for 5 nights, since we liked this place a lot. The lodges are placed in the park and far enough apart to ensure privacy. The kitchen is well equipped for a selfcatering stay. Additionally they offer diner as well, which we also enjoyed. The splashpool is a real treat when the temperatures are rising. The Hluhluwe National park is within 30 min driving and one of the most beautiful parks to drive through.

Could have had more information about the catering available at the lodge - in fact there was more availability than the booking.com entry suggested and it would have been useful to know that. Also more proactive advice about the best time to take part in the activities, especially the guided safari - we ended up riding around for hours in the heat of the day seeing very little - stick to morning and evening times for best wildlife viewing. Laundry service was three times more expensive than other locations in South Africa - possibly because of the drought during our visit.

Lovely to be onsite in a private reserve with animals taking priority on the tracks to the secluded cottages - and strolling past the windows. Large and cool bedrooms with very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Really helpful to have the lodge book all our activities in advance for us. The catering staff were very kind and friendly.

    Nothing!

The boutique cottage we stayed in was very spacious and completely surrounded by bush. Very close to many national reserves but enjoyed our on site trails the best. Great introduction to the bush, tracks and trails, animals, birds, plants and spiders!!!

    Nothing to complain about.

Really enjoyed the quiet of the bush ( no TV). The cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities. The private plunge pool is a bonus for hot summers days. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Beautiful!

Our stay was too short. This isn't a negative just advice to buy food etc before you get there as no shops nearby and it's nice to have cheese and wine while relaxing and looking for animals on the deck.

Felt very welcomed on arrival with a lovely cool drink. Stayed in Green Monkey Orange with husband and 2 adult daughters. Bedrooms were massive with large ensuites. Lovely big lounge area with opening sliding doors onto a splash pool and looking into bush - couldn't see any neighbouring suites - private and lovely.
