Nox like a check in and check out time however we always prefer it if we can self check in so we aren’t rushed to meet someone. Our dryer didn’t work they did send someone to fix it but not fixed before our check out.

Our apartment was cancelled two days out and we were offered a replacement which was very nice. In a very secure complex, lovely views and great apartment. We stayed in Vadi apartments not the camps bay terrace through Nox.

The stairs up to the apartment are many and really quite steep. There are also many small steps within the apartment itself - for instance near the bed, from the kitchen to the lounge etc and they were all in the same colour red brick so i was worried that i was going to kill myself if i got up in the middle of the night to go to the loo. The main bed was very old fashioned and squeaked at the slightest shift of my body. The air-conditioner worked but i couldn't adjust the temp - however it cooled sufficiently for me to sleep ... it was hot when we went. The safe in the main bedroom wasn't working and in the three days we were there they never fixed it. The shower - which is in the bath tub - off the main room, was finicky to use... the temperature control - the water was either boiling hot or cold. Anyway i complained and they sent someone to fix it very quickly.

Communicating with the property was very easy and they were very responsive. Finding the property was also very easy. The view was amazing and having our own little pool was a bonus. It was literally a 5 min walk downhill to the center of Camps Bay main street where the main beach is and all the shops and restaurants are. I didn't realise that we would have a maid service - so that was a nice surprise as was the milk in the fridge and the tea and coffee that was provided for our first couple of days.

The excessive amount of messages (emails and WhatsApp) we received from NOX. It was ridiculous. We agreed a check in time 30mins later than planned which the team agreed to and arranged for somebody to meet us. Nobody turned up for 30mins with us left waiting on the road

A few things affected our experience during our stay. First, the pool was green since our arrival and didn’t get fixed by the time we were leaving(the maintenance guy tried to fix it everyday though). Also, the outside lights weren’t working so we couldn’t really enjoy the balcony outside in the evening and it was hard to BBQ without a headlamp. The main bedroom’s bed springs were broken so we didnt sleep in there. The second bedroom’s lights were flickering. Also, two out of three air conditioners weren’t working (the two bedroom ones). We did mention all of this to the staff and were told it would be taken care of, but nothing ended up getting fixed even though we’re certain they tried their best. We felt like those were things that could have been easily fixed before our arrival and that would have made our stay a 5 star experience.

The location is amazing, you’re walking distance from everything you need in Camp’s Bay, and the sunsets (and the view in general) from the terrace are just perfect. The staff was very nice, it was cool to have a cleaning lady coming to do our dishes, change our towels, make our bed and clean up after us, like a hotel experience but in a place that actually feels like a home.

The deposit scheme is a bit frustrating and the hosts weren't really willing to divulge any information about it. I understand the need for it, but clearer communication about the refund would have been preferred as it took far longer than it said it should have. It is the first time we have ever had to deal with such a scheme - even as frequent travellers. Just something to beware of before booking.

We enjoyed the location and the facilities. It is worth noting there are quite a few steps up to and within the property for anyone who can't handle them. Parking was fine, good space for one car but much easier to reverse into than reverse out of. The views from the property were spectacular and we enjoyed watching the sun set and the world go by. Some of elements of the facilities were a little tired however they were intrinsic to the charm of the property that is set among others that are very over-developed.

One of the beds squeaked, which was annoying. There were strong winds and these would lift a corner of the awning off the building. Needs to be repaired.

The only downside was that you can hear the people upstairs wandering around very clearly. Nothing the property can help, but if you're a light sleeper then it might be an issue for you.

Very accommodating hosts, close to restaurants and bars and very close to a small beach that is only used by a few people. The pool was wonderful and everything was clean and tidy.

aircon for bedroom by the pool wasn't working. Bed making so much noise when you turn.

The experience was amazing and enhanced by that that they had an inverter and electric blanket. Honestly can't complain, Mavis(the cleaning lady) and the guy that cleans the pool came and did their part.

Not much to complain about here except perhaps that indoor dining facilities are small if the weather is poor and there is only one key to the gate which means you have to co-ordinate well with co-guests if not coming and going at the same time.

Everything, the location, the views, the rooms, the pool, the barbecue. Having stayed a bit further up the road earlier in our trip and been a bit disappointed we were overwhelmed by this property and sad we hadn't stayed on both occasions. The property is just moments away from the shops, bars and restaurants of Camps Bay with incredible views over Bakoven bay. There is a lovely terrace with a bench table and ample space for sun-loungers by the pool which is cleaned regularly and plenty of space to barbecue which can be moved if there is a wind issue. The interior is very cute with two lovely en-suite bedrooms and a nice little sitting room to watch a movie at night to wind down after a tough day on the beach. Very good value and the staff were delightful.

The view is stunning! Beds were super comfy, nice large bedrooms with lots of storage. Really nice, well laid out apartment. Great location near shops and restaurants.
