Ansie and Schalk were superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The guest house would win a prize in Habitat for it's beautiful decor.

South AfricaLoved the coziness and comfort of this guest house. We slept comfortably and peacefully, woke up to the sound of waves and to the smell of delicious breakfast in the mornings. Ansie and Schulk were most hospitable, friendly and kind. This property is well maintained and beautiful. Despite the load shedding, we were kept aware of the times, back up lighting in rooms and generators ready when necessary. Nice hot showers!! Will definitely recommend and go back

South AfricaI think if I had a small bar fridge in my room it could have made things better for my drinks, as and when i would have decided to sit on their lovely Balcony just a step out of my room next to the swimming pool. A TV could do as well, in case i feel like lazying around the room on days i did not go out, however, it may not have been necessary as i was out most of the time.
I liked that the venue is within fingertips of the Beach, and generally, Southbroom is a quiet area, within 8km to Margate if I wanted to go to more optional eating and drinking places. For me, what stood out was the hospitality, kindness and support from their staff. As for breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised, I really, really enjoyed their breakfast, you could never tell what was coming for breakfast, the experienced Chefs always had something up their sleeve and I loved every one of their meals from day 1 up to 7.

Breakfast was pleasant. It was generally served on time without any issues. Staff were also quite helpful throughout the stay and were attentive to my needs.
