Not much to say, rooms are a bit dated, especially the bathrooms need some attention. Not much to dislike.

The location is excellent, walking distance to everything, no need for a car during the stay. Great view of the beach. Staff is always great.

the rooms were large but everything is a bit tired. needs a refresh.

the property didn’t have a generator during load shedding which happened quite often when we stayed - about 2 times a day for a couple of hours. Not the proprieties fault that load shedding happens but found it a little hard as a guest when you need to blow dry/curl hair or charge devices for the short time you’re in the room. also the blow dryer didn’t work but that’s ok.

this property was absolutely amazing! the location was absolutely unbeatable at a fair price. I would definitely recommend. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast vouchers were a HUGE plus! Thanks again we hope to be back!!

The bathrooms were old and outdated, needs a little work, bath wasn’t particularly clean either, iron on offer was old and damaged my clothes.

Our room was very small and the facilities not great, but that was due to no other rooms being available. We did move ti a much better room later and that improved the overall experience.

The location is amazing, walking distance to everything. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are big and luxurious. The old house gives a lot to the experience. It is definitely a good option to stay.

Rooms could do with refurbishment and maintenance- but don’t let this put you off staying, it’s a great place.

the breakfast was a voucher for the restaurant in front, but they only opened at 09:00 which is far to late for a breakfast.

- the rooms need work to be done (old and some things did not work for e.g the door lock on the inside) - the security at night was confused and takes long to open the gates and to help guests get settled - overall the building needs renovations to be done

I wish they'd indicated beforehand that the breakfast was not to be served at the venue and that it was going to be in a form of vouchers. Although the restaurants were nearby but whenever we presented them (vouchers) we were given an attitude, more specifically the waiters at Mynt Café since we went there on 2 out of the 3 mornings of our stay, one even went as far as saying we need to pay for our coffees because they aren't included on the vouchers. The whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. The staff at Kauai however, were the complete opposite, they were very friendly the service was amazing. Also, the loadshedding schedule wasn't shared with us. The lady at the reception said that the city doesn't share this with them and that the power goes on and off spontaneously, I'm not sure how much true this is because where we come from (Pretoria), the schedule is communicated timeously and can be downloaded from various platforms as it helps to plan accordingly.

Great location, the beach was literally at our doorstep. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, not to mention accomodating, since we arrived there before check-in time.

I NEARLY SLEPT OUTSIDE IN THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE LOADSHEDDING AND THE UNATTENDED GATE AT THE BACK.

the electricity is off from 18-00 till 20-30 I think the hotel should have to inform the potential guests about it before booking the furniture shall be refurbished, bathroom all needs some update

very convenient location if you plan to have a direct and walk distance to the beach (bay) nice welcoming and helpful personal the most liked separate towels for the beach
