Everything about our stay from start to finish was nothing short of perfection. Room was spotless and well equipped. Beds were super comfy and staff were out of this world. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

Nothing not to like.

I liked the fact that it was a lovely little boutique hotel and very pretty. It was comfortable and the staff were excellent. Stanley was exceptional and such a great help before our visit and during our visit. We couldn't have asked for more.

The breakfast was incredible and the attention to details from beginning to end was amazing. They arranged for a massage that was done in our room and helped us with dinner suggestions. All of this after I had booked the wrong date and they helped to work all out for the right date! A perfect last night in South Africa!

Everything about Fleur du Soleil is first class. The staff, led by Staney, are exceptional, hard working and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always have a smile for you. Fleur du Soleil is a little gem.

We have no criticisms. We were superbly looked after.

We were very happy with our room, which was a good size and beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location was good, not far from the centre of Franschhoek. Above all, we were very impressed with the charming staff, ever helpful and ready with invaluable advice and recommendations for restaurants, wine tours etc.

Fleur du Soleil is a lovely luxury guesthouse. When we arrived we were heated by our gracious hosts who made us immediately at home and comfortable in the surroundings. Breakfast was excellent. The guesthouse is a short walk into the center of town. All in all a most enjoyable experience

We stayed at Fleur on our first night of Honeymoon and the staff were incredible. They arranged breakfast for us at 6.30am to accommodate an early flight.

A beautifully decorated and professionally run guesthouse. The staff, from receptionists to cleaning and kitchen staff where all friendly and helpful. They staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and added to our birthday celebration with an unexpected welcome surprise.

Everything at the property was amazing- comfortable rooms, nice remodeled bathrooms, great location and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a short 5 minute or less walk to downtown with a cute row of restaurants and shops. Rooms were new and modern and beds were extremely comfortable- may be the best sleep we had all trip!

The property is situated a 15 - 20 minute walk from the centre of the village. The homeward trek is a tad uphill. In the hours after dark the street lighting renders the journey just that little bit longer.

We stayed in the eponymous Fleur du Soleil suite. A beautifully decorated large space with sumptuous bed; the pool right outside our door as was our breakfast dining table.

Rooms were generous in size and very nicely decorated. Property easy to locate and short walk from the high street. Staff were excellent, in particular the manager Stanley.

The staff’s helpfulness and attention to detail was like nothing we’ve ever experienced. Victoria organised private wine tours and confirmed dinner bookings as needed. Stanley took exceptional care of us during our stay and shared his local knowledge. Breakfast was a treat!

Breakfast was fabulous and so nice to eat outside by the pool. Staff were very helpful friendly and engaging,short walk to Main Street with shops bars and restaurants.

A magnificent place. This is our second stay and it was even more memorable than our first. The rooms have been recently refurbished. We stayed in the fleur du soleil room which was palatial and very comfortable. The breakfast lovely. The pool area very relaxing. Only an easy 5 minute walk to Main Road where all the shops and restaurants are situated and where the wine tram originates. As always it’s the quality of staff which makes a big difference. A big thank you to everyone but we must particularly mention Stanley. From the moment of arrival with a welcome glass of sparkling wine Stanley is a font of local knowledge. We booked a couple of restaurants on his recommendation and were not disappointed. We also changed our wine tram itinerary on his advice and again were very pleased we did so. Nothing to dislike.

Truly luxury hotel, perfect location, 3-4 minutes walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. We were greeted by Stanley who is both highly professional and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight, served by friendly staff by the swimming pool. Rooms are large, spotlessly clean with everything you need and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - highly recommended - will definitely return.
