It’s not a dislike , just lack of not having a generator on the property during the load shedding, a slight inconvenience for the guests during the stay.

Location is great as it’s very close to the centre of village, a walking distance. Quiet residential area. Nice pool area. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Easy check in.

Quiet and secluded. Very leafy. Secure. Lovely big bedroom with enormous bed. Lovely white sheets and towels, very clean looking. Great breakfast with lots of choices and delivered efficiently and with a smile.

There lies so much more opportunity in this b&b The location is great, the rooms are old fashioned , but very clean , spacious and have a good - large bed ! Downstairs I would get rid of the office , open up the doors & windows & shutters , let some fresh air and daylight in - a great bouquet of flowers at the entrance , so you feel love & passion for hospitality in this actually great environment .. so not a disappointment but an Opportunity ☀️

The whole appearance ist dark, because of the vegetation. The Internet ist not working in the room, when you want to use is for streaming. The bathroom is unacceptable small.

The guesthouse is situated well near the center of Franschhoek on the road up to the Grand Restaurant, splendid view. The room at the pool is large. The breakfast is good, Everybody is very friendly.

Wifi speed wasn't great...wasn't great when using vpn connection on laptop. There is ups on main router which helps during loadshedding. However wifi extenders don't work so will need to get close to the main router if a connection is needed during load shedding.

Lovely place... And perfect location for us. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Pleasure to stay there and great breakfast.

I reserved a superior deluxe room upstairs with two single beds only to arrive and discover that the room had a double bed which was disappointing. The room could do with a small fridge for water and milk etc. The safe is tiny - it couldn't fit a laptop in it was so tiny. Loadshedding is a big problem so perhaps worth investing in a generator!?

An attractive guest house with friendly and efficient staff. The room was comfortable and spacious and the decor of this guest house is very attractive and well maintained. Breakfast in the dining room was very pleasant with lovely cooked to order food. Would recommend.

I had a lovely stay at Gable Manor. The upstairs suite was spacious and comfortable. It felt like staying in a tree house as all the windows are surrounded by trees. I loved the view from the balcony. The staff were very warm and friendly.

Cozy place. Great breakfast in nice extra room. We forgot a pair of glasses in our room and were happy that the service personnel found it, so that we could get it back. It takes a little walk uphill to get to Chamonix and a few minutes more to Dieu Donne, a place you should definitely not miss for great views.
