Lovely hotel in a great seafront location. Staff were great. We would like to thank Donraye(?) a relatively new member of staff for the warmest of welcomes. Her friendly smile and professional approach set a fabulous tone for our visit.

Perhaps we missed something but we assumed we were staying at the main building, not across the street. We have always admired the main pool area and booked for that very reason. It was slightly disappointing we weren’t in the main building. Overall, even that wasn’t enough to deter us from returning next time.

The breakfast was very pleasant and of course, offered stunning views! We booked here because the pool is simply stunning!

We couldn't stay longer!

Everything, from arrival to departure the team were amazing. We stayed here a year ago and it was as good if not even better. Rooms are well equipped, hot tub is a perk- I'd only say the balcony wasn't totally private so neighbors would walk by us or dip hands in. Location is spot on with beautiful views and breakfast is delicious- simple but perfectly executed with a variety available on the continent buffet too! We will be back again soon!

My stay at Harbour House Hermanus was simply delightful. Nestled in the heart of Hermanus, its location couldn't have been more perfect, offering easy access to all the charming shops and delectable restaurants that the area has to offer. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Kevin, the manager, stood out with his exceptional hospitality and genuine eagerness to ensure that my stay was nothing short of excellent. His assistance and helpful recommendations truly enhanced my experience. The rooms were both comfortable and pristine, providing a cozy sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring. The attention to cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and I appreciated the care taken to maintain such high standards. Breakfast was a highlight of my mornings at Harbour House. The delicious spread offered a variety of options to suit every palate, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. It was the perfect start to my day. Overall, my time at Harbour House Hermanus was memorable, thanks to its ideal location, attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and delectable breakfast offerings. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly enjoyable stay in Hermanus.

My only criticism would be the bed in the primary bedroom was so hard a mattress topper or softer mattress would have made my stay even more comfortable but maybe that’s just my personal preference

We were in the annex, just across the road with underground parking and it's own small pool. Breakfast and pool at main hotel just a 30 second walk.

Receptionist told us a route back to cape town via Betty's bay so we could see the penguins, rounded off our south african trip superbly

The room was very spacious, and we had a balcony which looked out over the bay. It was close to many good restaurants, and all the local amenities. A fantastic breakfast was taken outdoors in the garden, which also looked out over the sea. The swimming pool was a good size and beautiful. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. A lovely start to our holiday.

The bed was very hard like sleeping on a board! So we didn’t sleep very well. Our room was facing a restaurant across the road, so everyone could see into our room if we didn’t have the net curtain closed! Breakfast was good but food a little cold and sometimes my poached eggs were not soft as requested.

Excellent location in town. We loved being able to sit outside for breakfast. Good selection on breakfast menu.

Everything, staff, girls who cleaned our room were fantastic. Breakfast lovely including the staff. Reception staff so friendly approachable and informative. Upgraded room out of this world could have stayed there for months, hot tub a bonus.

Our bedroom was very comfortable but required a walk from the building we stayed in to the main hotel which at night is not ideal and can be a slightly confusing route though short.

Property and overall product is excellent as you would expect in this price range.
