The auto gate at premises was not working - bit of a schlepp to open and close manually. Some ground coffee for the French press would have been awesome.

It’s quiet and it’s in a beautiful location 10 minutes drive from the centre of Franschhoek they have very comfortable beds and a hot tub in one of the pools in a nice natural swimming pool to relax by.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!

The loft was so beautiful and elegantly designed and decorated! It was very comfortable and had everything one could need. It was peaceful and close to the main part of Franschhoek town. We will definitely be there again!

I'm so happy we didn't have anyone staying above us. The first day we heard people move above us ,it was very noticeable.

The zebras and springbuck roaming around were so entertaining and a lovely surprise. The views and garden at the back of the house were so lovely. The underfloor heating and wall heater added to making it a cozy stay. Old brown sherry to welcome us.

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the living areas. It was a freezing cold, raining weekend but the fire and aircon heaters kept us comfortably warm.

Maybe a bigger bin in the kitchen, otherwise do not change a thing. Absolutely loved it.

Location was beautiful, very tranquil & amazing views of the Mountain. The Cottage was really well equipped & cosy. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. We will definitely be back to stay; due to the bad weather we could not really explore the place. We would love to come back in the Summer.

Everything was perfect

Terrific stay and amazing views of mountains and the animals on the property. Especially enjoyed watching the zebras graze as the sun set. Although we didn't meet in person, the hostess Corne was very welcoming and kept in constant contact to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

There is no DSTv, and the wifi is a bit spotty in the storms. You can watch Netflix through the accommodation's account but need to stream your own DSTv. It felt like the unit needed another bathroom based on it's size, but that was not an issue for us as we were only 2 people in a 4 sleeper cottage.

Well kitted-out kitchen. Very comfy beds. Lovely to have a fireplace in the lounge. Springbokkies and Zebra roam the farm :D

Very nice location just outside Franschhoek; located on a working farm - with Zebra's in your own backyard. The accommodation was spacious, fully equiped with all cooking needs, and amazing views on sunset from your garden. Safe location, 2 gates to enter property.

Kettle was a bit dirty but we cleaned it out.

Spacious cottage, loved the visiting chickens. Great hot tub with views of the mountains in the distance. Communal eco-pool was also really nice. All round great experience.

The property is quite a distance (5 kms) from the centre of Franschhoek which could be a problem if dining (and drinking) at restaurants in town in the evening. This was not an issue for a short stay but could be during an extended stay.

The views from the property are fantastic. The property is very, very spacious and scrupulously clean and is obviously run to a very high standard. It is also well equipped for self catering. We also enjoyed sitting outside watching the family of chickens pecking around the garden.
