Very quiet. It was incredibly hot when we stayed there so the aircon was wonderful.

The wi-fi was very poor, but is understandable for being at the foot of the Magalies.

Fridge space was tight. Space in the lounge, the couches cramped up the area a bit so I moved them around completely ;-) You could add a shelf/ wall mounted vanity in the bathroom for toiletries to keep them packed away from little hands and off the floor. Definitely look at including a delivery service (at a cost) whereby Ice, fire wood, charcoal and fire lighters can be bought if possible. Although a plan was made and we were happily assisted without delay with wonderful wood at a good price, thank you :)

My husband Jaco and I thoroughly enjoyed our little family of 4 breakaway :) NO TV!!!! :) YIPPPEEE! Our kids aged 3 and 6 had a ball. The beautiful mountain views, animals, neat cabin (perfect size for just us 4), cleanliness and attention to detail by the staff was wonderful. We loved our morning hikes, the pool, jungle gym as well as large open (trimmed) grass area which enabled our small kids to play ball and frisby safely without the fear of snakes approaching them was appreciated. Thank you ladies for all the info, I was impressed by the step by step info guide that was provided in advance. Have a super 2024! We will see you again one day :)

The pool does need to be cleaned from time to time.

The chalets are nicely spread out, very peaceful. The AC is really helpful during the hot season.

Nothing. It was beyond my expectation of the place.

Everything. The view. The privacy. The comfortable beds. The friendly and helpful owners. The hot water. Comfy chairs. Everything was good for our souls.

The rooms do get super hot in the day with the aircon on but it cools down nicely at night

The flies were unbearable and the WIFI was not working very well but that wasn't much of big deal. The place is more ideal for adults, whereas for kids, one has to find ways to keep them entertained as the play area isn't much, though the pool did help a bit, its not a place to stay with kids for more than 2 days.

Since it a self catering place, we brought our own food. It was nice to find that all the kitchen appliances ,cookware and utensils were provided for. We liked that the load shedding wasn't an issue as the generators were on.

The Lapa can have a small kitchen so that when we have a large group like we did, we don't have to go to the rooms to warm something. A toilet will also come handy

There was a bit of noise from neighbours, but management was quick to resolve the issue.

The place is exceptional and very good for family time. Especially if you want to run away from those daily worries, that's the place to go.

The location is just what one needs if one wants to get away from a busy city life. The bed linen was really clean and comfortable. The pool was in an excellent condition and just we needed to cool down from the heat.

The dusty road going to the property, although it's not part of the property but the drive there at some point there were big rocks on the road .

Some guests played loud music throughout Saturday. definitely disturbed the calmness.
