Well... Really nothing to report, except the water shortage which is common for Cape Town these days.

We rarely put 10/10 but his Guest House is exceptional & definitely the mark is justified. Location, rooms, breakfast, and especially the owners. Helpful, friendly and helping a lot. Very pleased to meet you!

Parking is of short supply, but Barry showed me where I could park on the sidewalk ;-)

Barry and Mina are friendly and fabulous! Their home is comfortable and eclectic all at the same time. I am so glad I found them and look forward to sharing their info with others. Breakfast of warm fresh bread, cold cuts, fruit, and drinks get guests started on their day ahead.

Mina and Barry own Jambo and have run it for 22 years. They love their work, and their Cape Town recommendations are sage. Jambo quickly feels like home. The location is convenient and quiet.

We stayed at Jambo Guest House for two nights and couldn't have had a better stay. The house is in an excellent location (walking distance to the waterfront), breakfast was great and Barry and Minna were fantastic hosts: ready to help with excellent tips and stories about Cape Town, we felt as if we were staying with friends.

Everything at first sight is cluttered but then you realise that is the style and substance of the place. There are lots of little gems but Barry's bar is worth a special mention. The garden is quaint and the hosts Nina and Barry are so helpful. The location is good and its only 20 mins walk to the V & A. We loved it but perhaps its not for everyone.

Very friendly atmosphere and a lovely garden with jacuzzi, directly in Green Point. I was offered to join for a braai and even though I was the only guest, the breakfast buffet was big and fresh.

bedroons s little cluttered but this added to the ambiance of the property, but could put some guests off.

Really friendly owners with a font of local knowledge and advice.

A bit crowded in bathroom. Older, less flexible folks would have a difficult time getting in and out of the tub/shower. ?

The hosts, the location, the lovely house and grounds.

Barry and Mina run a beautifully furnished guest house at Green Point, a very pleasant seaside neighbourhood of Cape Town. They are very welcoming hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is excellent. The house is not very far from Central Cape Town, from the shops at Sea Point and from the tourist attractions of the V & A Waterfront.
