Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, tranquil surroundings, excellent food ( best breakfast of our whole trip), super friendly staff. Great hiking/ running trails straight from the front door. I don’t usually feel inclined to write reviews but this place was really quite special. Highly recommend it!

The distance to the next road was a bit close, so you could hear the traffic. But I asume you have this at all winefarms along the road..

Beautiful setting and very relaxed vibe. The food was incredible. I think the lamb Rogan Josh I had for dinner was the best thing I ate in my entire stay in South Africa. We loved sampling the pomegranate juice from the farm and found the room incredibly comfortable.

A really tranquil spot. We enjoyed excellent meals. My husband rated the eggs Benedict for breakfast as the best he's ever had. The staff were delightful, and we appreciated the car wash.

On the website a game drive is advertised which is no longer available. That is one of the reasons why we wanted to visit this specific venue. They did took us for a drive on the farm in the end, but it didn't compare at all what was offered on the website. The noise of the R60 is quite distracting, damaging the tranquility that one would expect at a place like this in the countryside.

The breakfast was very good, as well as the restaurant for all the other meals. Good selection on the menu and food is well prepared. The staff was very friendly and assisted to the best of their competence.

We had some problems in the restaurant, but when we addressed them to the manageress, she explained that she and her staff had only been in place since 01/11/23 - one week - and they were still feeling their way. To her credit, she took our criticism as constructive comment, and assured us that she would address them in due course. There was one light in our room that we were unable to find the switch for, so it remained on until the next morning - bar a 2 hour load shedding period. First time we’ve ever been thankful for an outage!

One cannot rent out a pretty room like that when the door to the toilet is broken and impossible to close. In any event when one shares accommodation the toilet must be “privatised” This one was impossible to use with other person in room.

Breathtaking environment. Loved the simplicity of rooms and fresh linen. Focus on detail and well preserved buldings. Breakfast was rautifully plated and delicious.
