That I couldn't stay longer

I visited Kennedy's beach villa recently and was very impressed with this home away from home... Amazing views, warm welcome, close to beach and restaurant, tranquilly peaceful, very spacious and hot tub. The villa is extremely comfortable, a true getaway work some interesting history and amazing people. I will book regularly in future at this amazing gem I discovered. Thank you Kennedys Beach Villa!!!

Kennedys is a hidden gem with the most peaceful surroundings on the Onrus River, with the ocean a very short walk away. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so at home and like long lost friends. Mrs Kennedy is the loveliest lady and she takes such pride in her beautiful place and wants you to be at home and to enjoy. James is the sweetest man, attentive to your needs and with the biggest smile on his face - my daughter thought he was just the best when he brought her a fluffy pink hot water bottle! The villa is large and open plan and has old world styling but feels so calm and peaceful. You overlook the river and the sea and you can take a walk down to the riverbank and enjoy a meal watching the ocean waves. We slept beautifully and it was very quiet. We will definitely be back, not letting this little treasure be a one-and-done visit!

The meticulously selected antiques added to the charm and the fireplace is simply incredible!! A lovely stroll through your own private little forest to reveal a secluded private lawn RIGHT on the river where we enjoyed a glass of bubbles, watched the waves and the birds and enjoyed a quiet moment together.

The room was big enough but there was only one large bed and other two bed mattresses were laid for us. I think even though the room is big it is not equipped to fit 4 persons. It is good for a couple. In the kitchen I felt utensils could be more cleaner and instead of loose sugar in the jar they should provide packs of sugar as it gets infested by ants. Also, there were no curtains in the room… it was cold so we thought curtains would have helped the room to be warm.

The location was amazing. The backyard leads you to the beach. The host couple were wonderful and James was exceptionally good care taker. He made us feel comfortable by lighting the fire and helping us with our luggages.We got the largest room because we were family of 4. It had old world charm feel with antiques everywhere. There was bed warmer as well for the large bed. Good thing was that whole place was for yourself with complete privacy.

The Kohl Kohl was not working.

I needed a port in a storm and Kennedy’s provided the haven I was searching for. It is, peace for the body, tranquility for the mind and serenity for the soul. The Villa is a grand old dame, antiques with interesting stories, quaint furnishings and the bed is so comfortable. The fireplace warmed me on several evenings. After a small mix up with the booking, which Mrs Kennedy so generously and timeously rectified, I am glad to say the lady is as grand as the magnificent villa is, Thank you! oh if not for James who just seemed to know when to appear. What warm and wonderful man. He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfection and you are smiling. My gratitude is huge. 🙏💫🌸

I booked the place for 3,unfortunately the extra bed wasn't ready for us. But that was quickly remedied.

I loved that the electric blankets was on and ready for me to get into bed and relax. Especially, seeing that it was winter. Great attention to detail.

What's there not to like

The journey from the satisfyingly entrance to your room felt almost straight out of Lara Croft's Mansion, The old design made me feel like I'm living in the 1800s which I loved, it was peaceful accompanied by the sounds of nature and yes the hot tub was amazing with a sea view and a bottle of champagne awaited our arrival James and Ymile are just amazing people making us feel right at home

Breakfast is not included. There are however facilities in the room to make coffee. The location is amazing and the hosts are exceptionally warm and friendly. Very attentive to all your needs. The room is beautifully furnished and clean.
