Ezna, the property manager who welcomed us, was a fantastic host, giving priceless info on what to do and visit on the days of our stay. Take her advises, you won't regret it The room was fantastic, bed super comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and the property is beautiful.

Beautiful and quiet location outside of Franschhoek. Extremely comfortable and relaxing. We extended for 1 extra night it was so good.

The setting in absolutely amazing, nestled in amongst the vineyards. The location in also great is that you have easy access to Paarl, Frranschoek and Stellenbosch. The service was outstanding and Ezna went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

We loved the whole place.

The setting...beautiful. The staff...Bridgit is a gem. Trevor, the owner, was also an interesting and friendly character. The breakfast was excellent. The honesty bar is a rare and welcome feature. The pool was clean and refreshing. The room was excellent.

I travelled with my 21 year old daughter. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome, relaxed and well-informed. The room was perfect and offered everything we needed; airco, generator back up, wifi and tea facilities in the room and the terrace outside overlooking the vineyards. The bed and linnen were wonderful so we slept really well (twin bed). We especially loved the location between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch and around the corner from all the great wineries and the honesty bar. It is so nice to be able to pour yourself a drink by the pool. But best of all was the personal touch and the very warm welcome by Ezna. This was by far our best stay during this holiday

The lady on reception who also served breakfast was exceptional. She couldn’t have been more helpful: we needed to extend our stay at short notice due to flight cancellations, and we loved it here so much we wanted to stay an extra night. Not only did she help sort this with no stress, we kept the same room, she helped us contact the car hire company & we had a delightful extra day by the gorgeous pool. Also loved the honesty bar which worked really well. A beautiful property

The farmhouse turned guesthouse is really lovely for a couple of day's stay. Beautiful view into the vinyards and a lovely pool area to relax by. The guesthouse is just 10 mins drive to Franschhoek town and all the neighbouring wine estates. Communication was super easy, also via WhatsApp, with recommendations for activities, dinners and wine tastings.

We loved everything about it!

Our stay here was exceptional. Not only is the property lovely, and in a great location but the host, Esna, went above and beyond to assist us with recommendations and reservations. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is beautiful and the riverside breakfast is fantastic. We loved it so much we extended a night! Would recommend to anyone.

There is literally nothing wrong with this place or location.

Breakfast included, in a beautiful surrounding with a small river. Absolutely a beautiful view of the vineyard as well when you exit your lodge room. Fantastic pool. But the STAFF, especially EZNA, is beyond helpful and the most wonderful person. The support they provide is above and beyond. Highly recommended. Only 5km away from the Wine Tram, 8 km away from Franschhoek area as well. Please go, you will not regret it.

The (sleep)sofa in our room was not sitting very well.

The staff continuously checked if we were fine and made sure to assist with suggestions and a generator schedule to fit our needs. The pool is great.

Great pool area with a view and drink variety with some snacks. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we failed to book a picnic at one of the wineries in advance, they phoned other wineries until we got a picnic basket on short notice and even drove us to the city center when our uber did not show up. Ezna and Bridgit were amazing hosts! They were easy to communicate with, offered to assist with restaurant bookings, super friendly and welcoming. Ezna went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable as a single traveler, making sure I had taxi numbers etc. The honest bar is a nice touch. The views of the mountain and the vastness of the farm is beautiful. The bed super comfy and cozy. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The lodge is just off the main road so for those wanting easy access to the road and have cars to venture out its great!

The place is stunning, the staff is more than friendly. From the first second upon our arrival, we felt like in a little paradise! The host (Trevor) was more than lovely and carrying to us. He is full of joy and passion for hosting. Furthermore, the rooms are nicer, bigger and cozier than it might appear on the picture. The breakfast is the cherry on the cake! Nothing I didn’t like

Bridget was so helpful and gave us so much advice. It also had such a lovely feel to it, the honestly bar was fully stocked with great cold drinks and the breakfast was very good.

The rooms are quite simple but very clean which we liked.

Ezna and Bridgit were wonderful, they really could not do enough to make sure we had a great stay. They recommended great restaurants and places to visit with fantastic views. Also the pool was really good as there was a heat wave whilst we stayed.

- we loved the room and the view in the morning (and slept very good despite the heat outside - the room kept a good temperature) - the pool was super relaxing with the comfortable sunchairs - the "honesty bar" was very convenient - very friendly staff making good recommendations for restaurants and things to see around- and also taking care of reservations- thank you! - delicious breakfast - short drive to anywhere around the vineyards - really good location to discover the areas
