Municipal water shortage affected our shower briefly but that is not the fault of the owner and the problem was quickly fixed with water from their own storage tank

Excellent breakfast cooked for us personally according to our preferences Leigh, the hostess, went out of her way to make our stay exceptional Our flight was not until the late evening so she encouraged us to stay and relax by the pool until the late afternoon, providing us with lunch at a very modest cost.

We had a lovely 4 day stay at this charming bed & breakfast. Owner Leigh and her professional staff were exceptional and very welcoming. They made sure throughout our visit that everything was well and gave a few good suggestions. We very much liked the location as everything was a short Uber ride away and there were nice restaurants in the area as well. Room itself was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Pool in the lodge was lovely and surrounded by a beautiful and well-kept garden. Simply loved it! Thank you for your hospitality.

I can't think of anything.

There is nothing like the generosity and hospitality of South Africa, and Leigh exemplifies this. She prepared delicious meals for us as we arrived late in Jhb one night and wanted a relaxed evening outside with friends the second. It felt such a treat to spend the evening outside at their lodge. Leighwood lodge has a beautiful, oasis like garden attracting all types of birds. We misplaced an item which Leigh effortlessly ensured made its way to us in Cape Town. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location ideal. Close enough to the airport. Highly recommend Leighwood lodge for business and tourist travelers.

Everything was exactly right.

The staff were so helpful and kind and it felt like been at home. The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The owner Leigh felt like a long lost friend. The Rooms were comfortable and spacious and quite large.

The grounds are stunning and very well manicured;, the staff is amazingly responsive and takes great pride in preparing your breakfast exact and delicious to order! Very convenient to nearby restaurants and very secure with gate and a guard house. I felt like I was at home!

For us, the mattress was a little too hard, but then again, for someone else it might be the best ever.

This place is home away from home, it'll be as if you're staying at a family member's place. We were there only for one night but had the pleasure to meet Leigh and Alan and some of the staff. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and happy to chat. Nice, spacious room, bathroom with tub and shower, the garden is lovely, and we had a fantastic breakfast.

The staff and owners were very welcoming and responsive to our needs. The guest house is in a quiet neighbourhood with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The guest house courtyard is beautifully landscaped and provides a lovely setting for reading a book or going for a swim. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here!

Very nice and well-maintained property located in a quiet area. Rooms large with very comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner gave us suggestions on where to go for dinner and it was a hit. The dinner was delicious.
