The location was perfect. So many wonderful coffee shops and boutiquey shops, galleries, and practical offerings (groceries, access to other neighborhoods, etc.) within a block or so. We also loved the unit we stayed in and enjoyed the balcony. Our room felt very secure and the neighborhood seemed safe. The owners are fun, funny, engaged, knowledgeable, and committed to making their guests’ stays delightful. Ours was.

It would be nice to be able to open a window for fresh air. The room has a decent fan and a good aircon unit, so not a huge problem.

The apartment is stylishly fitted out with comfortable furniture and bed. Stephan & André were perfect hosts; friendly and very helpful.

Could not leave the doors/windows facing the outside wall open during the night. It would have been nice if they had hooks to secure them when there is wind.

We wish to get the room with balcony next time. The back room is somewhat dark. Gladly the style inside is lovely.

I personally like a TV to watch the news or watch a movie in the evening. I did not have my computer so had to use my phone.

Location. Cleanliness. Bed comfort. Air conditioner. Kitchenette with coffee pod machine and fridge. Balcony for enjoying a drink and chilling outdoors. Location to De Waterkant. Cafe Manhattan across the street. Owner was kind and welcoming.

I loved everything about the room. I have nothing to complain about.

The room is very clean and modern, better than in the pictures. They even bought a baby cob for our infant which made our stay more comfortable. The coffee was delicious and we loved the sparkling wine they gave us on New Years. We had alot of towels in our room, enough for the entire weekend..

For what we wanted, nothing.

Just ideal for our night in the city. Stephan couldn't be more helpful. Right in the heart of Waterkant, so much on offer nearby no need for breakfast at the house. Useful kitchen area if you need it.

The apartment was great but the unique thing about the place was Stephan, the owner. He can unlock what you want to do, where you need to go. You just won’t get that kind of insight into a Cape Town from anyone else.

Very nice and welcoming staff, available when we needed. We could also leave our luggage after check-out, and could go for a last nice walk around De Waterkant. André and Stephan gave us great tips and did everything they could to make us enjoy our stay. We were very near nice restaurants and cafés at De Waterkant, walking distance from downtown Cape Town (museums, squares) and the WaterFront (shops and Aquarium).
