The cozy atmosphere and the warm-hearted persons that run the place, Raymond and Hazel, really enchanted us right from the start. Beautiful garden and swimming-pool for a resting moment, interesting talks and contagious smiles all day long. Highly recommended!

Well, we didn't know how to get in at first, it's a gated area. So they could have let us know what to do ahead of time. But there was a call button there that we found.

The location was good, near the coast. The room was comfy. The woman at the desk was helpful, answering our questions and booking a tour for us.

Good all round guesthouse in an excellent location. Guesthouse owner and staff extremely friendly and helpful. breakfast superb, room rate was very reasonable.

Beautiful very homely environment and helpful staff. Great breakfast service and self serving alcohol honesty system. Nice library full of useful guidebooks. Lovely garden, veranda and pool. Perfect location in Cape Town close to all activities, bars, the waterfront and the beach. Raymond and Hazel also organised releiable airport pick up and private tours around the Cape Peninsula with trusted drivers.

The guest house is pretty and located around the residence area. Hazel is very friendly and gave us advises about the Cape Town. Breakfast is also good and has lots of choices.

The room was spacious and very clean, lots of light. The bathroom was modern and spacious too. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, nice fresh fruit and good coffee. The staff were very friendly and professional. Hazel, the manager was lovely, very friendly and accommodating and made sure I was happy with everything. Raymond a lovely guy! Would definitely go back there!

The staff at Olaf's is very friendly and helpful. The guest house is quite small, as far as I understood, so it felt very cosy to stay there. The location is amazing - close to the ocean and a few steps up along the street bring the view of the mountain range. There are some good cafés and restaurants nearby, and a hop-on-hop-off bus stop is also near. A good low-key quest house.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

We really appreciated being able to check in shortly after noon on our day of arrival and also to stay in the lounge until 2.30 pm while waiting for our shuttle to the airport on the day of our departure. Hazel was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad, granola and yogurt as well as a variety of breads and eggs made to order. Location is very quiet in residential neighborhood in Green Point, close to ocean promenade and Green Point park as well as in walking distance to Main Road with lots of eateries, bars etc.

Just suggest to be careful of all your belongings and use a safe (or have precious things with you) in case you have some jewelery or higher amount of money.

Great, quiet location, very close to the sea promenade, close to Hop on/off bus station. 7 minutes by Uber to Waterfront, also achievable by foot taking a nice walk along the ocean. As for accomodation, nicely equipped, nice living room with space to have breakfast or just to sit and have a drink. Very pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed Cape Town and the stay at Olaf's a lot.

Guests should note that on weekends you can hear the party from the main road. Nonetheless, it is great accommodation.
