I would stay there over and over again. The owner of Onze Rust met and greeted us at the door, very friendly and made you feel like at home. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was top notch.

I didn't like how Bookings.com incorrectly mapped and addressed the hotel. Claiming it was 6,2kms from the wedding venue, when in fact its 22kms away by road. Also Penhill is not a tourist area......I'm certain the owners are loosing plenty of custom due to Bookings.coms lack of detail.

The Bed was great, the breakfast was amazing. great value for money. The owner took extra special care for my lack of local knowledge and went the extra mile to get me to the wedding on time!

The following will add extra comfort: 1. Soap dish for those bringing own soap 2. Toothbrush holder 3. Road very bumpy 4. Clear markings to guesthouse from the main road entrance

Broken and sparking electrical socket, towel rail fell off in my hand, badly tiled shower floor, musty smell - just general shabbiness. Access road not for sissies!

Proximity to Spier Hotel. Atmosphere of Fawlty Towers. 😊 Very clean.

The milk in the fridge was sour and the room was full of flies the second night.
