A most wonderful stay. Eric and the team are excellent. The rooms are spacious, very clean and luxurious. The evening meal is cooked to order. The produce is wonderful quality and worth every penny. Best breakfast of our whole trip.

We stayed at Pictures Boutique Hotel on the 27th of February 2024 we were here in 2023 aswel and we will make Pictures Boutique Hotel one of our yearly destinations. Oudtshoorn is a beautiful town and growning each and every year. We also visited the guesthouse owners Butchery in town and we have never in all off our traveling experience something so brilliant. Karoo Lusern Slaghuis is a must see destination. The property was perfectly situated. The pool was a saving grace in the South African Summer heat. We ate the best dinner here through out our whole trip. The meat was astonishing. The dessert was a traditional malva pudding and it was mouth watering. The staff at this property is very good. Just like the wine selection. Perfectly paired with each plate of food. What a fantastic place will highly recommend.

We stayed for one evening at Pictures Boutique Hotel and we would have loved to extend our stay we will return next year. Mr Eric the manager arranged the best tours for us and he was so handson and professional. The location of this property is perfect. With a long day of exploring the beautiful town and all the attractions our phones and cameras and everything was low. Lucky for us the establishment had a generator. What a generous add on. 6/10 establishments where we stayed during our trip had NO electricity during loadshedding. Will definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Pictures Boutique Hotel is situated in the middle of of a beautiful suburb. You feel part of the locals seeing there day to day activities but when entering the guesthouse you are treated like royalty. What a GEM! We were blown away by the cleanliness. The dinner we had was out of this world. Fresh and full of flavour. The room that we were allocated in was beautiful and stylishly. Yet again so clean. We will most definitely return to this outstanding establishment.

Staying at Pictures Boutique Hotel was such a pleasure for myself and my wife. She had a back surgery a few weeks ago and they attended to her every need. None of our requests was to much of a trouble. The breakfast was fresh and a wode variety was provided. We were so relieved that they had a generator with Oudtshoorn heat it was a luxurious benefit. The noise was moderate to none and that was perfect. Pictures Boutique Hotel was one of our top 5 accommodations in South Africa.

Pictures Guest house was superb, the place felt like home and is very modern and luxurious. You have a spectacular view from the balcony. The room was fantastic and spotless with a great shower, and I have to point out the bed – I asked for an extra large double bed and got exactly what I asked for – Extreme comfort. On arrival I spend some quiet time at the swimming pool and this is the perfect spot for relaxation. The staff is very professional and helpful. The breakfast was on a next level. The meat was delicious and very fresh. From a coffee lover – their Coffee is perfectly blend. A big plus when you book here is the fact that they have a generator so on your stay here you can forget about Loadshedding for a while, because they have you sorted. I will recommend them 100% - Thanks Picture Guest House for an excellent stay.

Nothing. Maybe a bit far out of the town but Eric arranged a taxi for us and Nostalgie the restaurant gave us a lift back.

Beautiful guest house managed by Eric who is wonderful. He was so pleasant and friendly. Delicious buffet breakfast as well as the usual cooked fare. Nice little pool with relaxing sunbeds. Complimentary decanter of port in the room and all the drinks are from the honesty bar either in your room or downstairs in the fridge and cabinet. All the toiletries you could wish for including air freshener and insect repellent. Very comfortable beds with chocolate and lavender garnish .Close to the ostrich farms and bufflesdrift game farm where you can do a couple of hours safari in the game conservancy. We also had an evening meal there which was lovely looking out over the watering hole where we saw hippos, turtle and other water birds.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome and the dedication of the staff to meet our needs was fantastic. The complimentary water in the room waiting for us was a fabulous touch to sooth this south african heat. Exceptional attention to detail. Probably one of the best Guest houses I have ever stayed in. The Breakfast was perfect and very delicious, the variety of delicious items served each morning was fantastic. The coffee was outstanding too. Pictures Guest House is one of a kind in terms of exterior design and interior finishing, also it has a great location and amazing swimming pool. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here on their visit to Oudtshoorn. In short, my stay here was perfect!!

Very neat and stunning Guest House. Secure parking and everything were exactly like I hoped for. The Manager is very helpful, and the staff is super friendly and professional. We loved the fact that the establishment was situated in town. A big plus here is the fact that they have Generator so on your stay here you will forget that loadshedding even exist. The pool in the hot Oudtshoorn weather was a bonus we lounged all day. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was so fresh. Coffee was delicious I will recommend this place to everyone visiting Oudtshoorn and I know I will return.

Upon arrival at Pictures Boutique Hotel, we were greeted by the most friendly and professional staff, after being showed to our rooms we were impressed by the small details, neatness and cleanliness of the rooms and extra bed set out for our 2-year old. Staff was friendly and polite, well dressed and very professional. The stunning pool was a hit for our daughter and the delicious food and top quality wine ended our evening on a perfect note. We were served a lovely buffet breakfast that catered to all of our dietary requirements and our morning coffee was bliss. Gardens are well looked after, and the interior of the hotel is classy and elegant. We had a wonderful stay, we were treated so professionally, had the most comfortable beds and were treated with delectable food! It is definitely worth every cent spent.

Incredibly beautiful property with exceptional staff who catered to every little detail. Staying here just made the holiday that much better!! On Arrival at the property, we were welcomed by the Manager Mr. Eric. He made us feel so welcomed and we instantly felt home. On Arrival it was raining and the friendly staff helped me and my wife to our rooms and made sure we are settled in and okey. Arriving in our room, the room exceeded our expectations. The rooms were so stylish and comfortable. We had a very good night rest and the beds were definitely 5star quality, I Wish I could take the bed with me :) The next morning, we woke up and had the best breakfast, I would rate the breakfast a 10/10 and everything was so fresh. Their food is some of the best I have ever had at a hotel and definitely worth every cent and I must say my wife is a very difficult customer to please when it comes to food. I can’t wait for my next return to Oudtshoorn to visit them again.

It was truly amazing, the staff is prompt, friendly and very helpful. The Generator is a BIG Bonus and made our stay much more convenient during Loadshedding. The breakfast is absolutely on point to fit your taste buds and everything was fresh. The meat that was served was the best that I ever tasted. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone who wants a peaceful quiet night of relaxation

The breakfast was not up to standard for a 5-star establishment, the cappuccino was not produced by a Espresso machine The omelette was extremely thin it was more like a crepe . The rooms sliding door to the balcony was almost inoperable

Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We had some food requirements and they met them 120%. Our chef came and spoke to us to make sure they give us exactly what we wanted. As we left early, they packed us a breakfast box. It was really appreciated. Would recommend them any time! Thank you Eric and team for the great service! You really made us feel welcome.
